Invisible Player Bug is back

Watch out! Invisible player bug is back.

Got wreckted the 10th time today from players i hear there are standing or moving right in front of me, but i cant see them.

Interestingly, I am always killed by invisible players who use chinese nicknames or abbreviations.

I suspect that since the last two mini updates the desync problem is back. Since then i have also seen enough teleporting players again.

This should supposedly no longer be possible because high-ping kick is on or isn't it?

 

all in all, it's very frustrating right now.

If you could have a video please share it, I will forward it to the devs.
May be the cause of desync between server and player position sending packets. It happened to me also this weekend only once but this is a known issue and devs are doing the best to fine-tune every server.

More likely desync than invisible. More likely when it's a Chinese name you pin it on hacks and when it isn't you are more willing to pin it on bugs or whatever.

This happened to me, and I believe it's a desync. I was in a party with a friend where I could see him, but he could only see me standing still in a spot -- doing nothing.

I was moving with him through the map where I could see him all the time, and he couldn't see me. At some point, I died from nowhere. My friend was right next to me but couldn't see anyone, and no one shot him either. Yet, I simply died.

My guess is that I died from standing still where my friend was seeing me before.
