DOORS NOT OPENING

God this game is so infuriating some times. I went into that little locked room on reserve by the main tower thing and closed the door behind me. I looted the place then went to open the door.  I hit F to open the door, the interface option popped up and everything, only the door didn't open. No big deal though, I thought, because there was another door that I could unlock and exit through. So I unlocked it and selected 'open', but again, the fuckin door didn't open. I was stuck in that tiny 10x10 room with no way out. What a fuckin joke. I decided to try to leave the raid and reconnect to see if maybe I was just lagging. Nope, for some reason leaving a raid just makes you forfeit all of your loot and kills your PMC....seriously? This shits so fuckin retarded. FIX YOUR GAME.

When you try and perform an action and it doesn't work you have been disconnected from the server. You need to shutdown the game and reconnect as quickly as possible, or someone is gonna come along and kill you while you are disconnected. Which it sounds like happened.

Remember, the game is in beta, they are fixing the game.

No, no one killed me. I left the game because I figured that was how you leave the game in order to reconnect. As soon as I left my guy yelled in pain and I could see the death animation occur. I was prone and hidden. You seriously have to Alt F4 in order to reconnect? lmao..

And I could still hear shots in the distance, so I don't think I was disconnected

He didn't say you died, he said that you should reconnect asap otherwise someone might kill you while you are trying to reconnect.

You hearing shots could very well be de-sync. The fact the game doesn't respond to your actions means there is some form of communication-loss, so its safe to at least draw the conclusion that you need to do something to re-establish the connection. 

Yes alt-f4 needs to be done here. I did the same as you, and now my sheet has one "left raid". Sux but at least you (and I)know now.

he did kinda say someone killed me by saying "Which it sounds like happened". And I'm literally in the same exact scenario as I am typing this, locked in the same room again because the fuckin door will not re-open.

This is a relatively common de-sync bug. Forcing the game to close, and then restarting it and reconnecting usually fixes the issue, but not always.

Whenever a bug occurs, remember to report it via the bug report button in the game launcher, and provide as much information as possible.

Disconnecting through in game means does just that, you disconnect from the raid, going AWOL.

If you want to "disconnect" but then reconnect, you will have to forcible close or crash the game (you can for example either press Alt+F4 or use task manager).

I feel like that is a terrible way to disconnect, not everyone even knows about Alt F4...why is there not a disconnect button in game, especially considering how much this stuff happens..

It's tough the first time it happens, it's nothing new.

As people have explained quickly hit Alt F4. It's very annoying.

Just to be clear, it will 100% happen again, but at least you know what to do.
