FLEA MARKET, COMPASS, EXTRACTIONS, SQUAD

Not being able to access the flea market when your level is below 10 is pointless. We want to be able to have fun, buy new guns and attachments and play about with new creations. Instead we are stuck with the poor choice of guns that the traders have to offer or the scav's and players drop. Also the traders sell very scopes and attachments that are actually useful and compatible to the new starters weapons.

The maps to the game are incredibly difficult to navigate without maps and a compass. Ok we can buy the maps from traders but they aren't great.. The ones you can find online are pretty good, but without a compass to tell you which way you are facing can lead to you unnecessarily run in the wrong direction.

The extractions need marking in some way. You could be running around the area for some time before you find the correct spot to get out, which could lead to you running out of time or getting wasted when you should have been safely extracted already.

When playing with friends, it would be good if everyone spawned together. Also  the ability to tell your squad apart from AI or enemies would be great, for example there names above there heads or some sort of indicator.

Hey there Gaz, you have made some pretty good points. Just in case you want some conversation regarding these topics the Flea Market was talked about a good bit in this thread (there are many reasons this needs to be locked at a level requirement.. way of passage, ease of access, making it harder for bots, something to look forward to, it is supposed to be a reward in a way,  ect.. (all in my opinion))

For navigating the maps, using the EFT Wiki's maps are probably the best way to get around. They take some getting used to but once you find your general way around the map, it's a bit easier. I advise using "landmarks" to navigate. So on customs, the bridge, dorms, gas station, sub station, ect.. There are places like these on every map and can help lead you in the right direction.

I agree with the extractions, they could be marked better for new players but some extractions are marked with green flares to show that they are open (rock passage on Shoreline, RUAF Roadblock on woods, ect) and some are marked with key things like the smugglers boat on Customs has a campfire that is on if the extract is available (you stand right next to it). But for some main extracts, this could be worked on definitely.

When you are playing with friends if you are playing as PMC's you do spawn together. (make sure you join a group together first) and most of the time you spawn together as a Scav with a few exceptions (especially on Reserve). Lastly when it comes to being able to tell your teammates apart the, BSG teams goal is to make this game as realistic as possible but fun too (in my opinion) this means that names above the head would be pretty jarring though, I'm sure some would disagree. Who knows, maybe they will add something of the sort but, for now they have added arm bands of different colors that you can equip if you want a way to tell your teammate apart from everyone. You can buy these from Ragman.
