dying to nothing

was walking down dorms and suddenly with no sound i take damage and die, no sounds! whats up with that

Yesterday my friend took alot of leg DMG while moving as the server was lagging at game start. It stopped once the server stabilized. Maby something similar to that happen to you.

silenced guns shooting from distance will make no sound for you.(you may die so much to these)

i dont think its the case in dorms. sometimes if i disconnect and reconnect, the scavs stand still on my screen but they move and shoot from somewhere else that i can't see them and can't hear the shot. so it may be the reason you died.

I'm assuming dying from nothing means death screen didn't show any player or scav shot him.

he didn't say "died to nothing". yeah the topic name is that but he is saying he died from no visual contact and no sound, but yeah you may be right. then we need post screen
