BattleEye and Displaycal / ICC profile loader issues/legal?

Recommended Posts

I planed to color calibrate my monitors using displaycal.

It creates ICC profiles and uses a loader, because ... the windows one isn't great, I guess?

Could this cause any issues with BattleEye? I mean it changes the colors a bit and I don't know reshade, but it might be similar because of this(?).

Normally I use my colorimeter only on my laptop, but after lg repaired one of my two pc monitors (dead after 2 months -.-) their colors don't match anymore (hw rev changed) and it drives me crazy.

Thanks, will also ask there. But even with search first I wasn't sure if the no reshade thing is enforced by battleye or not, second I wouldn't search for a mouse dpi mod when talking about monitor color calibration. And as color calibration works using icc profiles, which are a part of windows and I'm not sure in which way an external loader inteference here (what level does it work on?), I think its a quite different question.

@Cyano

The community manager said that you will have to write an email to battleye to know for sure that the program isn't blacklisted.

I dont think that this program is blacklisted, but its better to ask someone from administration just to be sure
