Question regarding wipe

Being fairly new to the Tarkov scene, i was wondering whether the wipe comes first or the patch 12.6?

Do the team tend to do one before the other, and if so, which?

Hey there Nobbly, patch 12.6 and wipe are coming at the same time (when 12.6 is ready to go out to the players). Wipes only happen because they can't add certain features without clearing everyone's data, hence why it is coming at the same time as patch:

Thanks.  I was a little confused because I watched a podcast where Nikita said 12.6 is ready and final little bits of testing being done before release (this was last week) and he mentioned pre-wipe events.

So i thought we have to have pre-wipe event, then wipe, then patch

I completely understand your confusion, it is a bit confusing for new players. It goes pre-wipe events, then both wipe and patch happen at the same time since wipe happens because of the patch itself. So, at this point we are just waiting on pre-wipe events. But when wipe does happen we get all of the content and fixes from 12.6 too so that will be nice.
