HORRIBLE freezing constantly.

Since the last update (the one before the wipe) my game is freezing all the time, switching tab in the menus, clicking ANYTHING in the menus, opening inventory in-game, looting someone, just randomly while performing any action. Some of these freezes go beyond usual stutters and last 2-8 seconds seemingly at random and for no reason. My hardware is all decent and I didn't have this issue before the last patch. I've been monitoring all my hardware and nothing seems out of the ordinary? Any help is appreciated.
