In this topic, we suggest you to share your vision of how the Sherpa reward, the bonus lethal weapon, should be implemented. Tell us what you think. How many rookies should a Sherpa train to gain access to this weapon? Should this weapon surpass the conventional game ordnance? If yes, to what extent? Or should it give a different kind of advantage?

i think its a good idea that sherpas get some reward (even tho personnaly i would probably give all those rewards to new players !!). When im saying this, im not saying to give them top gear you know, but at least some stuff they can work with in raids to help new players ! I'm not even a sherpa, and i like to bring 3-4 new players with me in raids to help them, but you know just like me that a 5 man squad is like a thicking bomb ! lol we're easily spotted, and obviously a 5 man squad of new players doesnt have much chance against a few fully geared players !!

how about just special clothings? Clothings like in the military, the classic "drill instructor" :D

Weapons should be available for all players, to provide fair gameplay, but clothings dont have impact on gameplay

@ kevin A sherpa is a veteran Tarkov player who is here to help new Tarkov players to fully understand the game but also teach them tips and tricks so they can also teach others the way of Tarkov. Sherpas are extremely important because in Tarkov there is currently no Tutorial and it it very crucial for all players to have at least a simple understanding of how the mechanics work.

I know that my answer doesn’t apply to weapons, but even so the idea may not be bad :) Recently, developers added Adik clothes (Killa boss clothes), you can make a set of uniforms for sherpas, not a bad reward that will show everyone that this guy is a sherpas.

In the days of popularity, Dayz mod was a player’s reputation, it was possible to become like a Bandit or a Good guy, everyone had their own skin, so what if I add a unique skin to the sherpa?

I think to stay realistic, no special weapons, or atleast that other players can't take.

yes to a special skin, purely cosmetic, that they get special ammo is enough I believe.

special sherpa case only if its don't give a special advantage.

in the end they are still players, and if there no way to check how much they help, or there no planning to check if the sherpa stay active to the community and be helpful they should get only minors advantage.

if sherpa are followed, and those not active enough or not helping anyone anymore are demoted, then special advantage should be ok. but not life time, only till they keep helping players and respect their role of sherpa.

like I would not like to see sherpa get advantage and all, and then after some month stop to be sherpa (really) and just use the advantage for themselves, taking sherpas only friends they know.

The bonus lethal weapon should not be a reward for the sherpa. It should be a prime weapon to give to the new players we help. The weapon should be cheap and effective, while not being 'meta.' Balance wise, a significantly cheaper competitor to the p90. A fast, low recoil gun that can kill but rarely 1 shot head shots max geared players. The reward is a cost efficient way to aid the sherpa in his mission to help others.

P.s: Now Sherpas don’t get any additional gear from the company. That is planned, however.

Unfortunately I think if the weapon performed better than existing weaponry this might encourage people who wouldn't otherwise become Sherpas to do it to gain access to that weapon. This could result in sub-optimal Sherpa-ing. I have absolutely no issue with players willing to take time out of their day to help others getting items that are a little better than everyone else's but at the same time I would plan to have a system in place that prevents the abuse of  this item.

Cosmetic enhancement would be the easy solution but I think giving them a "better" weapon is also cool. It would just need careful monitoring/adjustment.

How about a fully customized weapon of the Sherpa's choice? More of like a starter weapon to help out in the early rounds but also this weapon is free for that Sherpa to build, and maybe only usable while in a group? but this allows a proper weapon to do back to back runs easily, but also benefits them by saving some money in the early game?

i just saw this topic and i think it's cool, but the thing is that it takes alot of work that devs don't have time for it (for now). but if its going to happen it should be a gun which is already existing in game , and based of what type Sherpaling chooses on his request ( USEC assault, BEAR recon and ...) the Sherpa recievs it. for example Assault type receive an AR but with unique features like a Sherpa tag or a green line or something,  and it should only be used on Sherpa runs and here's how to: when ever a request is confirmed by  a Sherpa the Sherpa will receive that specific gun for a limited time( like 48 hrs or more) and it can not be looted off the Sherpas dead body.

I'm all for Sherpas receiving reward for their efforts, and I believe they are deserving of something above and beyond the norm.  That is to say their comittment is above and beyond what the majority are willing to do on a regular basis and whilst the position is not undertaken for gain, a little reward occasionally is far from undeserved.  That said the possibility of diversion is always going to be potentially tricky.  If a sherpa is killed carrying this "exotic weapon" is it just available as per any other weapon?  Perhaps in this rare instance a biometric signature?  ie somkething that ties the weapon to a unique character ID and ONLY thast character thereby ensuring the weapon cannot reach general circulation.

Anyways extra above the norm or just exceptional within the norm, is hardly a massive price to pay given the continuous role these guys play for the benefit of all.

Я думаю, что это будет особенно волшебная вещь, потому что это уникальное огнестрельное оружие, посвященное шерпам, заставит их больше интересоваться огнестрельным оружием, чтобы использовать это новое оружие. Это будет идеальный финал.
