How on earth is wall hack still possible?

I get shot trough walls on tarkov right now. How on earth is that possible in a game in 2020?

Is is so complex to measure where the shot is taken from and what it has to go trough before it hits the target?
I can understand that they can sniff coordinates from the packets, but how do they guide the projectiles trough walls?

And second, why aren't the packets encrypted so it cant be sniffed?

Aren't ppl in csgo have wall hacks? not to mention that it's old game and such problem is still there?!

Any video proof? Or we should blindly belive that such thing happened?

Maybe u had desync? (Like today i saw huge problems with desyncs)
Maybe someone shoot your from angel you didn't know about?

BUt without video proof we can't judge.

Here is example of such desync, i clearly shoot when his whole body is behind wall, but i do kill him. (i only could see backpack)

The problem is, its precisely because it is 2020 it is possible. Counter Strike has laid a foundation for the TYPES of cheats a programmer can envision to reality and after that it's all in their innovation to make it happen in game.

Anti-Cheat is, in my opinion always going to be 99% reactive because it's hard to stay ahead of what they will do to bypass stuff. Only way to combat cheating is to have an INSANE amount of human resources behind it. A good example is WoW and Fort, PUBG tried to do what Fort did, and they gave up in 6 months because it was just too much work for them to handle with their resource. So if the company had the leisurely funds to throw awaay at anti-cheat, it would be easy, but who wants to throw the vast majority of their resources that can be spent else where? Also.. because all this crap is done on personal computers, it's hard to take them to court and get them charged criminally. At best it will be civil suit seeking damages. So the law's are archaic to modern times. Did you know giving a black person an IQ test is still illegal in United States? I am not joking, this law was inacted back when the civil rights were being fought for and till this day, they did'nt update the laws. Just a anaology to give you an idea of why it's damn near impossible to stop cheating, unless they are physically causing harm to the companies hardware. It's Bull and laws need to change regarding this.
