Tullu
Will we be able to attack one another's hideouts? For which we would have extended exterior upgrades/builds for? I think it would be cool if your hideout could be attacked, and your stash divided between the stuff you can hide away safely (like a pouch), and the stuff you hide in your stash (like a backpack [i.e: liable to be lost). The way this would work is in the following manner: Game play Flow: 1- You are able to assault an enemy hideout after having collected their dog tag. The Assaulting player can turn the dog tag in to Prapor (for example) whom will send his "dogs" to 'scout for the subject's hideout location' (via Unique static Dog Tag id) during which time the selfsame Defending player gets notified of an incoming attack within the next 24 hours, giving him an opportunity to bolster his defenses and even possibly be involved in the defense, perhaps also involving his mates creating a team vs team scenario, like that which we can see in Raid. 2- The hideout's exterior would have purchasable buildings and defensive installments such as mines, machine gun nests, watchtowers etc... that increase the defensive capability of the hideout. 3- The defending player can hire Scavs, with varying degrees of expertise expressed through the amount of Roubles they require you to pay them on a daily basis. Whome can be placed in specific locations and given patrol commands. This gives players a reason to make more money in the end game - to defend and attack. Rivalries are created. Alliances. etc... I find this important because it not only gives sweats a long term objective/purpose but also pros something to do after they have finished the game. Development requirements: 1- A map or several maps, dedicated for the hideout location. 2- Exterior defensive installments need to be designed, and given 3 to 4 different 'upgrade' look. 3- If not yet existent: Unique Dog Tag ids need to be issued. 4- The 'find player hideout' mechanic implemented with prapor or at your Intelligence Center. AND consequently a new separate window entitled Raid where all relevant interactions are handled. 5- Players can choose to flag or un-flag themselves for pvp. Searching for an enemy location can (relatively to an opposing player's Command Center Level and as specified by a certain percentage) automatically flag you for PvP against all players. 6- Once flagged, the players that can 'see' one another must 'lock' one another in a siege which conceals them from other opponents. Please let me sleep. That's where the '(un)Flag for PvP' feature would be beneficial. You can keep it turned off. LasseNielsen
How about instead of making it player based it would be a new squad hideout. With different crafting options and bonus to stuff. So you could raid another squads hideout. And what ever gear you leave on your character, is what he spawns in with as a raider on the Squad Hideout "map" Along with hired guns (scavs) Then they could design different smaller maps, depending on which hideout type the squad choose to build. Different hideout type had different benefits for the squad.
