Someone please explain this!

This is going to make me sound like a whiner but I just lit a guy up (with 7.62 ammo) and his armor absorbed 547 damage. How is that possible? As far as I know you cannot wear 547 worth of armor. I hit him 14 times and did 236 damage to his body and his armor absorbed 547. Cheater I'm thinking? Someone tell me I'm wrong.

Totally agree with you, mate!
I think he used BAD ammo like 7.62x51 Ultra Nosler or FMJ vs a T6 armor or even 7.62x39 HP

Or even any 7.62x25

I'd also like to know the answer. I've frequently done over 350damage to a person and they live. I had one the other day of 406 damage, and 839 absorbed by armor. I don't quite understand how. however, my deaths always results in 250hp loss.

I still dont understand why people post responses that are completely useless.

The problem is that if you hit a class 6 vest with complete poo ammo, then that ammo will NEVER actually penetrate the armor.

So the amount of damage can stack up and will go poof.
