Well, if you die... Of course it's not cost effective. TBH you should not have gear fear at this stage, you won't be keeping anything at release (if it ever happens) or next big patch.

Well yeah, at this point in the wipe people will sink to some seriously sad lows to get even the most basic of gear.. it can get really pathetic.

its not really worth it to bring any kind of nice gear in on your PMC while people play like this.
