As we all know Tarkov lost some popularity in this wipe. Mostly cause this game isnt very fun anymore, its sweatfest. Most of the influencers like Pestily, Krusher, Kotton etc. will say that this game isnt as fun as it was. One of the reasons is that its getting much harder and harder. And here i come with FiR topic. For me its obviously useless as it blocks just fleamarket flipping that was a great way of making money as well as good strat overall. If someone is smart and patient enough he should get his money for it. Same goes with things in containers. They are ment to be a safe space. With FiR they are not anymore as if you die the item looses 3/4 of its value that is on Flea Market. BSG should review their vision on it as its useless update adding only frustration.

I didn't really put alot in my safe box during previous wipes as I only had the 2x2. I mostly held keys and some stuff I didn't want to rebuy every time I died.

And I don't feel like making money is that hard this wipe. I'm progressing farther than I have before, maby played more too.  And I'm probably just an average player. I do try to be smart on how I spend money, but I feel like you get so much guns and items from raids, and medical stuff from quest that its rare I buy stuff. It seems like people are still making way too much money too fast judging by the gear and bling everyone els seems to bring.

If they didn't intend for the pouch to be used to cheat items out of raid, it's just something to get use too. I think it's more fair if anyone can have a chance at the items, not just the person who sprints to the spawn fastest.

I think the goal should always be to survive and extract, and I think putting valuables in the pouch moves away from that. Find a good item, well poo I'll just hide my gear and disconnect.

Disconnecting is AWOL and that should not count as found in raid but if you die from a scav or player and you have AESA like me many times that you would like to sell cause its 450k on market then its a fat loss of money

Anything added to the secure container should absolutely be taken away if the player willingly disconnects. I also think the container should be unavailable unless you have a weapon in your main slot.

i don't know how you got those information about tarkov losing popularity, but whatever we assume you are right. in this case, it's better to lose those players with this small change now than losing them in the upcoming patches that will make the game even harder. if you were playing this game in flea market before, i'm glad that people can't buy items from traders and selling those to people 10* more. if you were playing as a naked guy and ruining everyone's experience by getting to ledx spawns and putting it in your container and killing yourself, again i'm glad it doesn't work anymore. i don't think surviving a raid in a surviving game is much that BSG wants from the players.

i'm waiting for the secure container locking system that locks the container when you get inside the raid, so you can just use it as a utility space.

i think you should review your vision on the playstyle you get used to it and try to adapt the small changes that comes from time to time, cause you will see bigger ones that will make those player's life hard that can't survive a raid.
