ChessieSeaboard
WARNING, THIS MAY INCLUDE NORMIE JUGGERNAUT MATERIAL. I HAD CONVERSATIONS WITH SOME MEMBERS IN THE EFT DISCORD AND THEY LIKED THE CONCEPT, SO PLEASE DON'T GET TOXIC OVER IT Been thinking about a small little idea for a new Scav Boss for about a week, and I've been trying to brainstorm various equipment and gear options to make this boss become about as realistic as possible. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scav Boss Name: BarrikadaOther Possible Name: Fal’shbortReal Name: Mikhail ChernyshevskyPossible Description: Barrika was a young Spetsnaz SSO Operator for the Russian Federation working as a Machine Gunner and English Translator under Special Purpose Center "Senezh" who would become a violent force to be reckoned with, after the collapse of social order within Tarkov. Loaded with a reliable Light-Machine Gun with an Ammunition Pack and a modified Sapper Assault Suit, along with 3 new friends he brought from his service in the force, he spends his time dabbling around within the Norvinsk Customs Plant, most of the time wiping out the deadbeats that wonder in his path, ready to start a fight. He won't mind you being around him, at least for a little while. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Appearance: The design of Barrikada is mostly based off some features on the COD:MW 2019 Juggernaut (Collar Armor Components, Drop Leg Panels, Limb Armor Components). Most of his appearance will be based off of the ATACS-FG Camouflage Pattern. For his basic body armor, he will be equipped with the FORT Technologies OVR-3SH Assault Suit customized to have the ATACS-FG camo, and is given pouch + armor based modifications to that of a Machine Gunner setup. On an individual scale, his main plate carrier system will be connected to a system of Ballistic Drop Leg Panels, pouches, Structured Upper Arm Deltoids (that similar of TYR Tactical’s Bicep Protectors but slightly enlarged), etc, putting his armor at Class 6, for 115 Durability Points. His Assault Suit's coveralls are laced with ballistic lining, which should put his clothing at Class 2 for 15 points, and is lootable + equippable. For some headborne armor components and accessories, he will be outfitted with the Voin Kiver RSP Helmet with an ATACS-FG Helmet Cover, along with a Protech Ballistic Face Shield, and a custom-cut SLAAP plate modified into the ATACS-FG camo and designed to mount only on the Voin Kiver, and is specifically achievable from only him. His headset will be a GSSH-01, his headwear will be a Momex, and his Facewear will be a PMK-S Gas Mask. For backwear, if he were to be equipped with his Machine Gun setup, he would wear either a Scorpion Ammunition Backpack or Rarog TCP Ammunition Backpack by itself, being the most common. Although there is an EXTREMELY rare chance of his Scorpion Backpack custom-modified by width and length to be given more Volumetric Capacity (750-1000 rounds, depends really), There are also 2 extra variants of this backpack that gives it ammo space and regular loot space, however. The first variant is uncommon, it being the Scorpion Ammunition Backpack with various extra utility pouches, and the second variant (being the rarest), is a Beta 2 in ATACS-FG (with extra pouches on it) modified to where it is strapped onto a Scorpion. If not, he might not spawn with a Beta 2, rather a Mystery Ranch Blackjack 100 in ATACS-FG, a Mystery Ranch Overload Ruck, or an Attack-5 Backpack in ATACS-FG. Sometimes, he may spawn with only the Blackjack 100 or the Attack-5, just like the Beta-2, depending on manual box magazine reload. The Beta 2 will be mildly compressed to fit the diameters. Also depending on his loadout, he could get another variant. His second loadout would consist of only a Beta 2 (most common associated with this loadout), and the uncommon variant being a Beta 2 with extra pouches. His third loadout could give him an MFH Assault II backpack, and the more uncommon variant of an MFH Assault II with extra pouches. His followers will be equipped with a variety of gear, but they will all be military-based. Some include the FORT Gladiator-A, an LZSH-1+, Berkut Backpacks, Wisport Raccoon Rucksacks, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Health: Barrikada's followers have a health point amount that in total lands at around 450 HP. Fal'shbort has his own specified health values.Head: 50 Thorax: 115 Stomach: 135 Arms: 100 each Legs: 105 each Total: 505 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Weapons and Loot: If Barrikada were to be killed, he would drop his gear (as mentioned in Appearance) and his clothing could be lootable, as it is a ballistic assault suit laced with soft armor.Loadout 1: PKP Pecheneg Arma Dynamic PKM-RAP Sight Mount or Raptor TWI B-51 Scope Mount (With ELCAN SpectreDR 1.5x6 Scope colored in ATACS-FG, with a Docter Hybrid) Raptor TWI B-50 Forerail “Pecheneg” (Zenitco B-25U Foregrip and Perst-3 Laser on Left-Side Mount) Zenitco PT-2 Buttstock or Artisan PT-2 Styled Replica Zentico RK-3 Grip 200 Round Box Magazine for PKM/PKP Platform (ATACS-FG, unloaded and closed) Scorpion Ammunition Belt (Connected to Ammunition Backpack) Ammunition: 7.62x54mmR Lps Gzh (or T46M)Loadout 2: PKM Arma Dynamic PKM-RAP Sight Mount (With ELCAN SpectreDR 1.5x6 Scope colored in ATACS-FG, with a Docter Hybrid) Raptor TWI B-50 CNC Forerail “Classic” (Zenitco B-25U Foregrip and Perst-3 Laser on Left-Side Mount) Zenitco PT-2 Buttstock (or Artisan PT-2 Styled Replica) Zentico RK-3 Grip 200 Round Box Magazine for PKM/PKP Platform (ATACS-FG, unloaded and closed) Scorpion Ammunition Belt (Connected to Ammunition Backpack) Ammunition: 7.62x54mmR Lps Gzh (or T46M)Loadout 3: Fostech Origin 12 Shotgun Silencerco Salvo 12 gauge Suppressor Promag Saiga 12-Gauge 20 Round Drum Magazine CST Buffer Tube + Magpul UBR Gen 3 Primary Arms Prism 4x32 Scope 12x70 Magnum BuckshotLoadout 4: MVD “Vant-VM” Ballistic Shield (ATACS-FG, 50 points on Class 4 Armor Rating with 90% Ricochet and possible ballistic glass penetration) MP-443 Grach + B-5 Mount and Klesch Flashlight (ATACS-FG) 9x19mm RIP The first 2 loadouts will associate with him wearing the Scorpion Ammunition Backpack, and in some chances, may spawn with the MFH backpack or Beta 2 and would only reload by box. The third loadout will associate with the Beta 2 (small chance of MFH), and the fourth loadout will associated with the MFH primarily (Beta 2 rare). His loot can consist of M.U.L.E. Stimulators (that he occasionally injects himself with), along with Loadouts, 7.62x54mmR Loaded/Unloaded Chainlinks, his own service dogtags when he was in the Russian Federation, and regular Scav Raider Loot that isn’t gear. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Behavioral/Management Functions: Barrikada and his squad will mainly wander around the new customs region in formation, sometimes manning the building with the AGS and the NSVs. Barrikada’s Guards will be like regular Scav Raiders, but Barrikada will have very slow movement, and running charges that occur periodically. If possible, you may encounter him moving across customs to various points in Customs such as Gas Station, Dorms, and Shipping Containers. He will get in hostile conflicts with Reshala (with Barrikada mainly winning) however, so if you want to get to Reshala first, keep watch on that. If you encounter Barrikada as a scav or a PMC, he will not attack you at first-sight or close range. However, he will engage in either Russian-Accented English or Russian dialogue depending on if you’re a certain PMC or a Scav, pointing out if it’s a foreigner or a local, and then giving them warning to get out of here. If you stay in his hair for long periods of time while actively armed, he’ll attack you, and boy do you not want to fight him. However, you can actually grow friendly relations with Barrikada, because that’s him for you. If you give him valuable items (such as weapon ammunition, guns, and even valuable barter items), he may speak on more friendly dialogue, and it could give you a chance to spawn near him on solo, acting as a protection crew, and he could even follow you. There is a chance you can engage in hostile interactions with him, such as opening fire on him, staying around him for too long, or actively insulting him with the emotes wheel. Although getting in a firefight would be difficult when given expert combat tactics among his squad and good gear, he has weakpoints. His extensive load of Modified Gear will make him very slow when it comes to turning or moving, unless he has a M.U.L.E. Stimulator. Therefore, when opening fire upon him, he’ll slowly turn and walk to your position to attack with his gun. It’ll give you some time to lay various weapon rounds on him, dealing some plinkets of damage. However, explosives or stationary weapons (2-3 shots of it) such as Grenade Launchers (stationary or handheld), HMGs, or Grenades may stun/kill him easily. You can use a PKM against him as well. It is also possible to fire into the ammo bag, leaking or depleting his ammunition and possibly destroying his belt, forcing him to manually reload. And at his face where is PMK-S is could also be a way to shoot at him, because most of the time his visor is angled up. It’ll be a good time fighting him, but it’d be best to befriend him. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know I may have ventured to the unrealistic and unnecessary side of things, but this is Tarkov, y’know? Crazy poo’s bound to exist. Killa is an active example. I tried to incorporate as much sensible realism and balance into this concept design, but it’s very likely that if it even gets considered by Nikita and his group of Battlestate Devs, it’ll probably be different. I actually had several different variants that I have in mind that differ from this example but probably wouldn’t be as realistic. Some of those included using random US Army gear, or modernized gear, like F70 IHPS Helmets, FirstSpear MASS System, etc. I do feel like this could be changed way more, and that It could be better, so if you guys have any questions about this, leave a reply on this thread, or drop some ideas or suggestions that can change the idea. Thanks! Edited August 6, 2020 by ChessieSeaboard
ChessieSeaboard
Note: If BSG reads this poo, default market variants of each helmet or piece of gear can be advertised, like the regular OVR-3sh, Voin Kiver RSP Helmet, Scorpion Ammo Backpack, etc.
