h0rse987
Hi fellow Escapers, one of the main arguments for the FIR changes was (correct me if I'm wrong) that some people bought stuff off the traders to sell it on the fleamarket. The personal limit (e.g. 200 rounds of XY every restock) was in place, to somewhat limit this process and to prevent players from buying 10000 rds of M995 to run nothing else the whole time. I never flipped stuff on the flea and was always annoyed that stuff was sold out because of these people buying and then selling it for way more (even water!). I was happy that the FIR changes put an end to this, only to see that stuff still gets sold out just as it did before (of course because of the global limit) without me even buying a single item of my personal limit in the current restock. People can't profit anymore from buying and selling (which is good) but the negative effects for me stay the same (don't buy it or pay 5x the price on the flea). Why is the global limit still in place? Since the 9x19 7N31 was released I was never able to buy a single round of it, because it is always sold out (I play almost every night for a couple of hours, it is always sold out). Of course I could set an alarm on my phone to be there when the trader get's his restock, but that would just be super silly and annoying. So my question is: is the global limit still needed for economical/balancing reasons or is it just there to give a feeling of "scarcity"? If it is the latter, please get rid of it. Keep the personal limit but don't tie it to the global economy. The game is grindy and time consuming enough, I don't want to set alarm clocks to buy during the day or maybe even wait in my stash instead of going into a raid with my friends because the restock is available in 5 mins. Please correct me if I missed something, that would explain why stuff still needs to get sold out for balancing mechanics. Looking forward to your answers! Thormato
The Globallimit existed befor the Flea market existed, so no it wasnt in place to counter Reselling, Reselling happend because there was a limit The Limit is there to force variety and some other stuff iam to lazy to explain

This doesn't explain however why it is still there. The reasoning for the global limit in the past was totally fine, now it doesn't make sense anymore. The personal limit already offers the feeling of scarcity and prevents people from stacking up piles of a certain ammo. The global limit however prevents me from getting the desired ammo even ONCE. Thormato
Because the Traders only have that amount of ammo they can sell? They arent Magic Gateways to an other Dimension, its simple economics, if you dont have it , you cant sell it
