Is reporting racism/intolerance more effective through the official Discord reporting ticket?

I've played on the discord for only a year now, met plenty of stone cold white supremacists/racists.

Not hard to distinguish at all, as they typically start talking about inferior genetics/N-word whenever they die.

Anyways, I've reported many of these people only to continue seeing them playing as if nothing happened. I should be fair in saying that once warned they are fully aware they shouldn't be saying N-word and continue to do it in thinly veiled comments, still designed to degrade and be hurtful to those that they would prefer to insult directly.

Discord's TOS are very clear. If one were to report the same player to both Discord and Tarkov's server staff, I'd expect that the official Discord would be similar in punishment to what the Tarkov server would discipline, but that doesn't seem to the the case.

This raises the question, should we skip the middle man and start reporting racism/intolerance directly to Discord? Or should we leave our fate in the hands of people that potentially think racism is a farce/not worth rooting out of the server?

If you report them, you need evidence. The most common cause of lack of action is lack of evidence. Simply saying "He said this!" isn't proof, it's an accusation. Accusations need to be substantiated.

You need a recording or screenshot (if it was typed in chat) of them doing said behavior. This is how the Discord works, as we work on the basis of innocent until proven guilty.

Repeat offenders do get banned from the server, i've witnessed this myself (as one of the admins of the Discord server).

Hate to say this as an American but much of what we in America are now so easily offended by is hypersensitivity due to poor parenting over the last 20 years.....

Most Russians are laughing because of thinned skinned cry babies who want 15 minutes of fame saying he said the N word ("OMG")

I guess every rap artist is racist since they say it every other word on a Rap Song......

Pretty sure you can mute those peeps and move on......Cancel culture is a cancer to the human race.......Just move on and know there are stupid people breeding stupider people ( see what i did there).... you are playing a game that glorifies blood spatter and death for the sole purpose of making you feel like a real life hero, there are tons of people who find this offensive, certainly your not deleting this game to appease them.........

Your ignorance is astounding, I'm not even sure where to begin. How can you possibly find logic in saying rappers must be racist for saying the "N" word? Ah, yes, maybe they are all like Clayton Bigsby.

And using report systems to report exactly what moderators are asking people to report isn't "cancel culture", it's called following the ducking TOS/EULA.

I'm going to guess you've said "I'm not racist but..." at least a few times in your life.
