Just Lost a Reaper-IR to Excellent Netcode

Has anyone ever lost a scope or weapon mod while extracting for no reason?
I just killed a PMC at powerstation on Shoreline who had a Hunter Vepyr with a Reaper-IR on it. Obviously I take the gun and move to extraction with it, even stopping to shoot a scav on the island near tunnel extract with it. Without so much as even pressing tab to look at my inventory and with the gun and scope still visibly in my hand I take tunnel extraction out. Normal extraction, go through loading screen, press next a bunch of times, go to character, and boom, the Reaper-IR and the mount it is on are nowhere to be seen on the gun or in my inventory. Super frustrated and have no idea how this happened, as every other single thing came out of raid with me, even the hunter vepyr. Anyway let me know if you've had any similar expiriences so I can put my mind at ease lol,

No idea if this is actually possible, but maybe the REAP-IR was hacked in and then upon extraction the game removed it for not having the necessary ID/traceback.

there used to be some weird exploit if i remember where you can drop weapons and still use them so people couldnt loot it off the body since it was on he ground somewhere. i vaguely remember something like this dont remember the complete details

I had the exact same experience on Shoreline yesterday, same kill area and extract. After extracting  the entire weapon (with a REAP IR) was gone from the inventory.

Looks like the exploit hasn't been fixed, or its a new exploit.

This just happened to me yesterday i killed a guy with an m1a reaper on interchange and i used his reaper during the raid even checking the tab menu to see that it was on the gun. After extracting and going into my stash it was no longer there. I submitted a bug report via the launcher menu hopefully thats something.
