Hey all,

what's mathematical model that connects the armor class, durability and ammo pen value? Is it even known or are there only estimations from game testing?

thnx.

Veritas supposedly knows this, but he won't give any details on this, beside forcing you to use his app...

Nobody really knows but the EFT Wiki has taken some testing done by EFTAfterMidnight and expanded on it.

Pretty much:
-Stomach takes extra damage when blacked out to other body parts compared to other blacked limbs.
-Level 4 and below only saves you from Scavs.
-Level 5 and above will save you against players.
-If an ammo is within 5 penetration of your armor it has a fairly decent chance to kill you if someone starts spraying you.
-Level 4 helmets are not worth paying money for unless they have a face-shield
-Level 3 helmet & faceshield will save you from scavs
