Powercreep is out of control

I'm tired of having to run high quality ammo to ensure guys who need more than a single mag dump to the chest, go down. I feel like the current armor/anti-armor system in the game, makes half the ammo/armor types useless. There's no downside to using better ammo/armor other than cost, which can easily be negated. I like the novelty rounds like rip and 6.5 buck, I like experimenting and playing around with niche rounds. It's fun but gets me killed more often then not. But having to 'stick to the meta' is so exhausting. All I see are guys running class 6 and ap ammo. It's not unfair to say that they dominate the battlefield. If they dont get killed by hackers of course. I feel robbed of pleasure when I play tarkov now. I used to dread wipes, but now wipes are the only time when I can have some real fun. Everybody is back to square one and on even footing. There is literally nothing more fun than a mosling match. Or a pistol duel.

When is the next wipe? I just got the game, and even factory is abysmal at some times. LOL, maybe it's just like that. Learning the maps is tough, this game is very unforgiving, and I feel like I get lucky whenever I actually extract from a mission. I have wanted to quit, and keep coming back for more punishment, in the hopes ill actually kill someone hahaha. This game really is awesome though, despite my struggles.

What you're experiencing, I felt too. The newbie rush. After a while it goes away and the only thing left is frustration. But hey I'm happy for you. Make the rush last as long as possible. The only thing that comes close to it for me, is a wipe or when the stars align and every pmc/player scav in raid, is lightly geared and not running "the meta"
