Map{Item} improvement

Not much people use the map in game , it cost you rubles , you can get one free and faster on your mobile phone .

Add in these function may make it useful and worth paying rubles for .

-shows if the boss is spawned or not

-where the boss spawned

-unique extraction that only allow if equipped map 

 

Or just let it be a meme . Its fine too .

Showing where the bosses are active is a bit too much. 

Unique extract seems more reasonable. Before it let you chose what side of the map you spawn. But was removed sins some spawns were better and got over crowded, and no easy solution to make all spawns equally good. 

If the map marked out loot containers you have visited while map was equipped, or maby showing doors that you have the key for. That would be abit more balanced and still usefull for some players.

Why is it too much ? experienced player can hunt down the boss with no problem , this function can benefits new player who are doing their task , say when they don't want to bump into the boss , they can invest in map and do their task with more safety . Of cause that will use up one slot of their secure container .

Faster isn't always as good. And why you using your phone to look at a map, it's so tiny! lol. Just kidding, you do you.

A heavy marked paper map might be useless to be traded around in the world of Tarkov's market. The next buyer of that map could possibly careless about the markings because their agenda is something else. Implementing a water-proof map functionality; by taping the map with clear shipping-tape (using a potential feature from the hideout) resulting in a function which allows the individual to write on the map with a marker. And maybe they can add intel on the boss locations written on 'dairy' pages.

Just showing you where you are and what direction your facing, plus the major non ???? extracts are would be good.

I read that originally the maps let you choose which side you spawned on at the start of the game. But that feature was removed before I started playing. At the moment they have no real purpose and are far from accurate.

Because if everyone knows the location of a boss that has 3-4 different possible spawn locations it for one will make every match a cluster duck and it will be litterly impossible to get the boss unless you are the biggest Chad on the server. But hey if you think thats good for new players.

It also removes the only valueble content that you actually have to search for. Right now after the first 5 min you might as well skip all valuable locations because they are already looted by hatchlings or camped by chads. Bosses spawning random makes it always viable to visit locations like pier or cottage at any point of the game. Because you know there is always a chance bosses spawned but no one has been there yet.

No , it work as a dynamic map , it only loads in the current scav boss spawn location  of the map you load in  .

 

And it don't need to be that much accurate , will work just leave a static red circle around the radius they spawn .

So you consider boss a valuable content and a great loot for new player . Don't think it work for new player that want to kill boss in either way , chad tends to find you once you fight boss anyway so ... weather  its marked or not , you are still a goner .

 

Marked it on maps allows chad find it much quicker . The one who don't want to bump into one a chance to invest and play safe .

 

Plus take shoreline as example , hospital is much more valuable than boss , so I don't see why marked boss will make player have less loot find in raid.

 

Hatchling issue is based on secure container usage . They already fix it using aggressive scav anyway so ...
