Spawnkilled as a scav on factory

I'm relatively new to the game. I've gotten myself up some levels and finished a few tasks but am running low on money. The way I usually get money is by running as a scav on factory as I know the map the best out of all the maps and have a pretty high survival rate as a scav there. However, recently I've been getting spawnkilled by other scavs (I'm assuming player scavs) and it ruins the experience. I spawn in next to someone, assume it's an AI so I ignore him, then get shot immediately. Why do I spawn in directly next to other player scavs when 9/10 times they just kill you?

I feel with you, have the same problem that player scavs are very hostile these days and wasnt like that couple of weeks ago..

Yeah I get it if I'm shooting players and they want that loot too or if I surprise them, but when I just spawned in.. Feel like I shouldn't be able to spawn in directly next to another player scav yet it's happened several times now

Scav on scav violence needs to end!

 

that being said, you’d be better off playing any other map as a scav if you are looking for loot op.

If you're looking for loot as a scav, try going to reserve on your scavs.

i would also definitely recommend a different map for scav loot runs. once you know customs well it is generally easy to do good loot runs  especially when you find a couple of water filters and such. on a rare  occasion you will come across the remnants of a pmc fight or pmc vs reshala and goons. i found such a situation on the zb013 building only to charge down the staircase to find reshala and a goon had been sitting quietly for like 10mins there was 3 times as much loot as i could carry
