Getting shot at while looting

This has happened to almost everybody, I hope at least. You go prone to loot a body, you are almost finished looting, when all of a sudden, a player scav, raider, or even player starts shooting at your exposed body. In the game, if you are looting and you take damage, you remain in looting, forcing you to spam ESC Key in order to get back to your normal screen. This causes issues, like pressing ESC too many times, which again brings you to another screen. I think that if you are looting a body, or even if you just press tab to look at your health, energy, hydration, etc, and you inflict damage, it should automatically take you out of the screen you were on to make it easier to fight back. I have died several times because of this issue, even when the kills are old kills. Please look into creating a solution for this problem. I know I'm not the only one who wants this.
