Sw1tchy
So last night playing on Reserve with a few buddies we hit up a scav run. It was some what successful with a load of raider & PMC gear obtained. We ran for the train extract and as crazy as it was, my game decided to crash a few seconds before the extract timer got to 0. I loaded back in to try and reconnect, but my scav was on cooldown instead. Only to find my scav was all geared up from when I crashed! When I loaded back in with the scav after my 15 minute cooldown, sure enough, all the loot I had when I crashed was still there and ready to escape with. Unfortunately I hit an extract camper upon escape! So the gear was lost. I just thought I'd post here seeing if anyone else has had the same extract crash before with the same happening? It was a bit disheartening!
gkcx2002
That's a weird bug.
Saint_CRYSTAL
That is an intended mechanic for when you get network/server issues as a scav. Sometimes you'll be lucky enough to spawn in as a new scav with the gear and loot you had in that previous raid. Sometimes the game may not register it as a network issue and you'll just lose what you had instead. I've had both happen to me and it definitely disheartening to lose a big haul. Sorry you had to deal with that and better luck next time!
hermanJnr
I didn’t have a crash at extract, but yesterday I got out of Reserve on my scav with about 400k of loot. On the loot transfer screen I moved everything but a gun across, and then I got “backend error” and the game crashed. Came back to find that all of the loot was gone. Combined with hit reg issues, lag and a couple of hackers...yesterday wasn’t too fun :(
