Bearings and cardinal directions alignment

With compass introduction, we all thought it would add a great way for communication with teammates. However, the bearing you get via compass and maps are not aligned. In fact, they are simply turned by 180 degrees.

What should be North - would have the bearing of 180 and so on. Below is the example where I'm heading East (~83 deg), but the game shows bearing 263.

 

I wouldn't even assume that's a feature, since you cannot see Sun on the North in Northern Hemisphere.

Would you please deduct π from your formula of bearing calculation?

I knew it, I knew they wouldnt get it right the first try! After seeing the shoreline and Rezerv maps compared, it was clear that the directions were somehow off in the game.

Nice find and I hope this gets fixed soon.

And yeah, I thought there is no need explaining this, but still:

Correct bearing for North - is 0 deg, East - 90, South - 180 and West - 270.
