Group made, spawning in separate..

and then two minutes go by, the group leader leaves the area to get to cover, I spawn in and get immediately killed without a second to start moving.

Why even play this game anymore.. 12.8 really added to the nonsense crap too.

Depending on your spawn can be from your load speed. I run into this issue a lot. 

One way I go about to make sure that this does not happen, I inform my team mate I have not deployed an to please not leave the spawn. 
When leaving the spawn an if some one is near it will sometimes spawn  you in a different location.

Give this a try next time you spawn late.  it should help you.!
