Finally came across him today without instantly dying. Engaged for a while, its insane how much health they have. Was able to kill one of the guards but couldnt get close enough to loot, sad. I swear i hit sanitar in the head 10 times with 55a1 and still didnt kill him. Even when he was stationary healy and id pop his dome 4-5 times wouldnt kill him. Crazy

I mean they are not supposed to be easy. The Sanitar squad has an insane HP pool plus they can use stims and heal like crazy. Imagine if he pops etg-c and p22.

Yeah i know they are not supposed to be easy, just couldnt believe it takes that much. Super hard for me as im not overly aggresive, always solo or good so i play the distance game. It was tough trying to get close enough without getting shot. once at the cottege area i was running across the field about midway through and got one tapped by him. Didnt even know they were there, just died like wtf.

The man has roughly 3 times as much health as a pmc does...

Also yeh he's the one annoying boss that's able to lock on to you and kill you with a silenced gun.

Sanitar is, if I'm correct, the boss scav with the highest HP in the game. Each of his guards has more health than Reshala himself and he has a 360hp thorax. Normally a double headshot to kill him unless you use M80, M62, BS 545 or a round with a higher damage than 70. Be cautious of his spawn areas (cottage, resort etc) and if you do want to kill him, let his guards push and know where you're going to go after every guard you kill as you must change position or you will be eating an f-1 for breakfast. Take advantage of the audio cues of when Sanitar begins to heal if you are not comfortable beating him a straight out fight which is very difficult to do. Rush him when you are close and he begins to use a Salewa or other meds.

Sanitar and his goons are quite the sponges, once I thought he had his flesh damage kedr but he had a Val with BP. My M855A1 and M4 didn't do much.

The Division-esque bullet sponge AI is seriously bad enough, but the 3/4 inch thick spruce wood slat fences stopping M855A1 when I magdump sanitar through the wood makes fighting him at cottages an exercise in futility. 

I wish the Ai was a bit more intelligent, lest unpredictable; unfarmable, but not massive bullet sponges.
