scav disconnect

If you disconnect as a scav, does the game basically kill you off now? 2 scav runs on a row, booted for high ping (another issue i wish they would do something about) and both times i got a message saying the game has ended or aborted. Never have gotten that message before, usually it just keeps saying theres a connection loss over and over if you got killed while trying to load back in.
