Found loot not marked "found in raid"

So I did a woods raid and found the gas analyzer I need for Therapist's missions "Sanitary Standards, pt. 1." 

I put it in my alpha container in case I died, and go figure, I did. Now I'm back and there's no option to deliver the gas analyzer to her. I can see that it's not marked "found in raid" even though I did find it in a chest in the raid.

Is this bug, or is it because I died and didn't extract? I don't think we should be penalized for using the alpha container, should we? Anyone know what the deal is?

When I found the gas analyzer in the chest, it advanced the quest, so I know it's the correct item.

You need to extract with it for it to count

Ah okay. It would save on confusion if they'd make these mission items incompatible with the alpha container, like they do with some other items.

If i buy a vest on the market and then die and you take it, no its not found in raid i swear ive been taking vests off people all wipe and cant sell any of it on the market due to it all being starter gear
