quest rework?

Just curious if they may ever be a thing? Most are garbage and make no sense, i get the ones you need to explore a place for or plant/retrieve things for. Shooting a number of pmcs with a pistol or mosin within 25m or whatever it is now is just ridiculous. Why would a "trader" care how you killed someone if they are asking. It would make more sense to me if there was more of the kill a number of pmcs or scavs in specific areas like the cottege area on shoreline or now the abandoned town on woods.

Maybe put the nonsense ones with fence and they are always open and do like tiers. 5 pistol kills gets you 30k then 10 gets you another 30 or something. 5 kills with a bolt action within 20m or whatever.

 

Just spitballin a bit, wondering how many of you feel the same or like them how they are. They should rework them if they are going to before adding anymore maps or expansions since those generally come with new quests also which seem to be geared toward getting players to those new areas.

Content for content sake in my opinion, especially some of the Jaeger ones. 
Not a fan of the quests at all.

I have been suggesting a quest system more like Destiny for a long time. Daily and weekly quests that add incentive to use a variety of weapons and run different playlists/maps, while not being mandatory for unlocking high end gear.
The entire quest line for Jaeger with mosins was absolute cancer, especially with the horrible hit reg and desync. Basically just force people to play the way almost everyone hates and hide in a bush or dark corner watching a choke point and wait for some unlucky sod to walk into your sights. At least they fixed it to be any bolt action. Just kidding, not all bolt actions count even though the quest description says any bolty.

Take the newly "simplified" Jaeger quests for example. For Acquaintance, the very first quest that locks you out of all his other quests, they changed the required Emelya rye croutons to be found in raid.
I've opened every food crate, barrel/ground cache, sport bag, jacket and dead scav I've encountered so far and I didn't find even one(and you need 2). So I'm stuck and can't progress any further.

They have said that ALL of the quests we have in game right now are placeholder.  I doubt that is really true, but that is what they have said.  They just do not want to let the "story" out of the bag yet.

Its RNG at its finest. In my case it the gasanalyzer. Morphine last wipe. Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes not.

The story is prolly going to be just as garbage as these garbage quests
