Defiants
Found a nice reserve key, flea market says lowest it's ever sold for was 370k, and it's currently at 500k. I price at 490k. Stoked I found a nice drop. Thing is, as I'm clicking accept I notice oh, there's a 100,000 ruble fee for placing this trade up. Ok. That seems steep, but OK, still stand to make 390k. Check the Flea Market later and there are now dozens of the keys up for as cheap as 230k. Oh. Ok. Somehow plummeted 140k lower than it's previous low, and 260k lower than when I set my price. Rough. Key doesn't sell obviously, so I put it back up for 150k this time because yeah I'm not going through that again. It sells. So for this "nice drop" I received a total of 33k, because when I put it up for 150k the fee was 17k to list it, and I spent 100k to list it the first time. The key vendors for 50k. I lost 17k basically trying to engage in this market, all because from what I can tell the fees are meant to punish those manipulating the markets. Meanwhile, it ends up making the market practically useless for the rest of us? I've seen this as a general response from BSG to the various issues in Tarkov. Very heavy handed changes that generally don't solve the problems but also create a host of new issues for legitimate players that A.) Aren't manipulating the Flea Market and B.) Aren't cheating in game. I shouldn't lose out on money engaging in the flea market. There shouldn't be 100k charges to place up an item. Period. If bots and people abusing the flea market are a problem, solve that in a way that doesn't make the flea market completely useless. I don't like the idea of playing Tarkov and just vendoring everything to NPCs. I like that there's a sort of economy, and that I am actually selling something that other players need. It's interactive. So I likely won't bother using the flea market much for stuff that charges me 100k to place it. The best part is, this will only benefit the people that abuse the system. Less legitimate players taking part in it means more profits for them. Great move BSG.
SaltySani
I have a similar issue. I have a key -> check price -> 650k roubles -> check 10 minutes later, still the same price -> put in on FLEA for 625k roubles -> 1 min later after 4-5 refreshes suddenly a ton of those keys pop up and the price drops to 50k. Jsaccs
I think these are niche issues considering its the start of the wipe, item prices are going to vary tremendously as everyone is leveling up. I did though just lose a 1 mil in fees because i accidentally clicked on the wrong item to sell lol. Would be nice if there was some alert saying "Hey by the way, youre trying to sell something over 50x of what its worth...are you sure about that?
