i am trying to fix the problem since like 2 years.

my troubleshooting was :

New OS (i even upgraded my hardware in this time)

New Game install

tweak settings in windows and  fritzbox

flush, renew ip/dns

and few other things, it dosnt matter what i do i always get server conection lost,  if i reconnect sometimes i can continue play for maybe a few minutes but after reconnecting againe i get instantly "Server connection lost" message and there is no way to enter the raid againe.

i mean i have over 20 years of pc experience (C++) so do know how to use a pc and after some time i always was able to fix problems with games. this bug is unfixable for me and as i read í am not the only one. i have the game since 2016 and never had such issues.

This is the only Game that has issues with connection my wifi is stable with 5ms, D=50Mbps and u=25Mbps i was running few cmd tests to check stabilty with same reason EVERYTING IS FINE!

as pre alpha tester i am pretty anoyed the game has such issues.

Specs:

overclocked setup or stock dosnt matter problem still persists

i7 9700k

rtx2070

ssd

Gigabyte gc-wb867d-i (wificard)

32Gb 3200mhz cl16 ram

  • 5 weeks later...

Hi Corehit,

I have the same issue since a few days.

I can add a few points to it:

I just moved places (never had the issue before) and got the issue after 2 weeks at the new place.

The connection at the new place is still fucked up, so i thought it is due to that (paket loss about 1-2% and latency spikes). However it was fine for the first 2 weeks to play tarkov, just noticeable when the spikes hit.

Since a few days im getting the same server connection lost messages.

I've now tried moving over to a different connection which is stable, but the issue persists. As far as i know the second connection is on a full dual stack ip4/ip6. The spotty connection could be ds lite, although it should be configured as pure ip4 (no ip6), but i did not confirm that one yet.

the second connection was on a completely different infrastructure too, so it can't be a switch or firewall issue beside than the pc running tarkov (which was the same).

that said, there must be more to it...
