Can't launch the BSG launcher :( need help

Game was working fine few days ago, but last night, but now I can't even open up the launcher (I think it crashes everytime I try to open it?)

I've tried redownloading it a dozen times, ran it as admin, updated windows and C++ etc

Been up all night trying to find a fix but hit a dead end and need assistance :(

Also sent a support ticket but that might take 4-5 days before I get a response

 

My specs:

CPU - Amd fx-8350

GPU - AMD R9 280X

16GB RAM

SSD + HDD

did you end up figuring out a solution to this issue? I am having the same issue so hoping I can find a solution to it as well where nothing happens when it opens, not even anything popping up in the task manager, also I don't use the eventviewer.
