Unplayable due to Unity bugs and now unplayable to the point the game won't launch

Since wipe day I've had issues with unity. Game would crash at random moments. Sometimes while fighting, sometimes when I got killed / died. Some times while prone waiting idle. Some times in the hideout... basically random. For the first 2 weeks I was uploading bug reports usually multiple times a day. I usually use PicPick to take and manage my screenshots. I sent BSG multiple screenshots of the specific unity crash code. Along side multiple logs. No results yet. So at this point the game is unplayable to the point I still didn't have access to the Flea Market. I couldn't do any quests because my game would crash. So fine... give EFT a break.

Today it got even worst. I opened up the client, noticed it wasn't crashing... so I decided I should reset and start fresh. I had just finished resetting my account and I was identifying stuff on fence. Organizing my inventory. You know... basic stuff. Game crashes. Now the new part... the game won't even launch. As soon as I click play the BSG launcher minimizes, the game window pops up with no icon, game crashes instantly. So now, the game is not only unplayable for quest... I'm literally unable to launch it.

I know you are going to say... but summit a bug to BSG. I'm sick and tired of summitting bugs. They don't have a solution yet.

What I'm wondering is this:

Has any of this happened to anyone else here?
How where you able to fix it?

TL;DR = THIS IS NOT A BUG REPORT. I'M NOT REPORTING A BUG. LOOKING FOR SOLUTIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.

I've submitted many screenshots (using PicPick not in-game screenshot folder) and bug reports.

What happens if you attach a screenshot you took manually instead of the EFT folder? They request a screenshot from the game folder. So... the game crashes, it's 100% unresponsive, it's literally unable to create a screenshot... and the bug request is not processed because the report didn't have a screenshot from the game folder!?!?

So my bug report queue is so filled up I can't submit more bug requests. It's not even a daily limit and if there is the system has not cleared bug reports I made like 2 weeks ago.

This is ridiculous.

No new windows updates since wipe day. Nvidia drivers up-to-date. I have a firewall blocking everything, but the game... and before you ask I've also tried the firewall off with the same results.

I have also cleared the following cache's:

BSG/EFT through launcher.
Nvidia
Windows 10

I also refreshed my windows 10 installed before the patch. I have also searched the forums on 2 languages. Dozens of people are complaining about this. It's about time BSG says something.

I bought the game in december at discount and had a few crashes since, but since 3 days i cant get into a raid but the game UI like char screen, dealer etc. works fine.

I have to mention that i saw that unity picture a few times too... and another one with "unknown unity application" and some crazy numbers behind it. All of that seems to be a server side problem and no one of BSG talks about it, cause there are so many ppl having issues with it... thats insane!!!

My support request is still not answered....

I might have fixed my issue, it's the same unity code as everyone else. I have yet to test it out further, but what I did was by deleting the driver from my gpu and redownloading it. I'll edit my message once I test it out in woods/ labs.

Reason I went with this route is I was told I might have had a overclock core in my GPU or something related to that since I was describing different artifacts popping up on my screen moments before the game crashes and I was told that might be the reason.

I've noticed random stutters during matches which is new since the latest update.

I am using a 2080ti, 9900 coffee lake, and 32 gb of ram for reference at 3440x1440 and I have never had performance issues before.

So today I ran labs and did noticed a big difference. Usually when my game is about to crash, my pc will start going into hyper with the fans and such for a long time until it crashes. In the labs I did, I only heard my pc going ham for 3-5 seconds for the entire game.

So maybe this solution can work for someone else.

I deleted the driver for my gpu (when restarting your pc screen will go black) but after few minutes the driver should be installing itself again (happen for me).

Well GG for anyone else with the issue. Mine seems to be fixed. And my pc doesnt run that heavily anymore compare to my previous games where occasionally my pc gpu fans will turn on super. Barely happens now.

@untagatnuPlease download the program MemTest and let it run for at least 12 hours on a USB stick. Your crash reports make me think one of your RAM bars is defect.

12 hours. Sorry but no. 12 hours is overkill.

Yesterday I ran 1 pass, no errors found.

Today I ran another 2 passes in like 6 hours. No errors found.

Well now you waste 2 x 6 hours. Instead you could have run it over night to have a minimum test sample. Usually I let them run for at least 24 hours. Had to return my last 4 RAM bars. It very common for RAM bars to be faulty, you actually never have a 100% perfectly well batch. The question is whether the amount of defects is high enough to cause any issues.
