How to reach lvl 10 as a casual gamer?

Few weeks in since the last wipe and I, as a casual gamer, is struggling hard to get to level 10 to get access to the market.

How do you guys do it, i know quests ye, but the starting quests are so dumb, it forces one to go to costums and stuff where alot of pvp and pubstomp is happening. I find myself getting stomped by super geared players with guns and ammo out of my reach..

I can mostly play like 1-2 days a week for a couple of hours. But idk man, getting facerolled while I just try to survive and sneaking around while trying to get 1-2 scav kills as PMC is just frustrating to me.

Any suggestion regarding earning XP are highly welcomed. Map suggestions aswell. I mostly go to reserve (feeling more secure inside buildings and the underground catacombs, when i go to the outside or spawn nowhere near a building I'm mostly dead withing a few minutes)

It's for nolifers, unemployed (like myself) and streamers

Better play something else.

This is my honest point of view regarding how few of a time you can play it

Apart from that, the best XP boost early is quests because the subsequent quests they unlock give a ton more XP, like 20K and even more

They're a must do for levelling the traders anyway.

once you have prapor/mechanic/skier and peacekeeper lvl3, you can rush most of the gunsmith tasks without the need for the flea where people sell the parts needed for those quests at an obscene price

Mechanic lvl1 has a barter for a shotgun with the necessary muzzle piece for the 1st gunsmith task for 2 elite and 1 screwdriver

IF you don't mind dying a lot you can do your tasks naked on customs, die, respawn with 1hp, rinse and repeat. Don't heal

Big waste of time if you ask me, but risk free

To get to rank 10, here is what i have done :

1) Out of quest

a) I use the shop and especially fence to examinate a maximum of items. You will be able to get 1-2 levels.

b) after lose a raid , if you heal with medikit yourself you get xp, so if you save money you get a few xp. The easiest way to maximise it (but it is cheap) is to "give up" after launch the trial. If you do that with a weapon you insure but you drop somewhere, you will get to 1 hp and be able to get xp to fully heal up.

2) Quests :

a) Debut from prapov : as you kill 1-2 scav per game it won't be hard to do the first part. For the second, the easiest way is to play scav.

b) search mission from prappov : (i haven't done it as i hate woods), you need to look on the web to search the spot, in game try to found some spot to oriente yourself and go for it. It is not critical if you die after found it, you will just need to relaunch a game

c) Supplier from skier : Toz can be found if you play scav and the module 3m can be found either on scav or on factory office. It can be done in 10 round usually.

d) Shortage from therapist : easiest way to do it is with the hideout. You can buy the ingredient on market and just need to be patient.

e) Standard sanitary from therapist : i got it from scav and on factory. Will be luck based.

f) Introduction from mecanist : ... It can be hard as some people tend to camp the crash site but if you are lucky enough it is not hard to get and you would just need to escape.

g) Acquintaince from jaeger : there is three type of items to found :

=> Iskra : craftable

=> Emelya crouton : a bit hard to found but you found it sometimes in bags

=> Can of delicious beef stew : from far the hardest for me. I made 45 raids to found the 2. My only advice is to look on interchange, near kitchen.

I did it like this: suffer and realise after that, that I still will suffer. But I´m a Slav, we like to suffer.

Just play? The first time is not easy. But if you have already played a little EfT, it goes very quickly.

The most important thing is, don't play as a scav! Because then you won't get XP. Next, don't use the free healing after a round when you die or are injured. Because then you won't get XP.

And don't follow bullshit streamer pro tips like playing Factory for fast leveling. For that you have to know what you are doing. And someone who has trouble getting to level 10 doesn't know what he's doing.

Just run across the map, shoot 1-2 scavs, loot a little, don't camp in a bush!!!! don't walk along the map border and you have 1600XP for the round. For doing practically nothing. Every time you come to a place where you have not been before you get 300XP for discovering it. Therefore do not camp, not at the map border... because then you will never get this XP.

Thanks for all the suggestions, so far.

I really like this game, even though i'm fairly bad/inexpirienced at it. The feeling and immersion is nowhere to be found.

Tho throwing heavily equipped level 30/40/50+ guys together with newbs and lowlevels in general is out of my understanding. Sure splitting the playerbase seems not like a good idea at all because of the queue timer and stuff.

I guess I have to suffer my way to victory
