Hit Registry the past 2 weeks is going wild.

I went from doing super well two weeks ago landing shots as normal, Now it seems none of my shots registering at all with semi auto and bolt action guns. I'm not missing the shots either they are almost delayed or not registering at all. I have a pretty terrible internet connection (3Mbps) but have been playing since 2018 and never had this issue before. Normally I have desync that's visible if anything. I'm assuming there is something wrong with the servers or my own personal connection to them. My ping is pretty good 41-60, players I join with are also a bit laggy though where they never did lag around before. Any solutions would be awesome as I love this game but feel like I'm wasting my time at this point. Graphics setting that mess with bad connections? windows poo that might be causing it? Caches that I can clear? anything.

It's always been a bit of an issue.  The main problem is desync and ping abusers.  I just died without hitting a guy standing 3 feet away using buckshot.  I got off 6 rounds of buckshot and didn't have a single pellet hit.  Meanwhile the ping abuser casually aims and blasts me in the face with a slug.  Tarkoved again...

I know a lot of people scream "realism", but for the exact reason OP is talking about we should implement a blood mist effect for hits. Or at least some meaningful telegraph; recoil, moan etc..
