I saw this a while ago, and just say it again dunno why it showed up again in my feed, but I was reminded of the things that can be accomplished. Fast forward to 7:30 marker and watch the magic unfold! I'm sure after taking a shot like this you'd be hemmoraging internally, but hey it actually stopped the bullet lol. BSG Add this as Armor lvl 9000 ? XD

That's a super ghetto armour made up of a SLD FRAS and an IV insert.

If nothing else it shows just how potent backing armour with rifle rated scalars can be, even if they're utter garbage like SLD's materials are.

if you wished to show real armour that would be present in Tarkov, the Atlas fat plate is good. It's made in Russia and capable of defeating the GOST BR6 threat of B32 API.

This would be a Level 9 armour plate, made up of Combined Materials, with 400 Durability.

It would protect the Thorax.

Intention would be to stop sniper rifle bullets of any caliber with laughable ease. Might save from a few DShK bullets.

Effects afterwards would be mild bruising at most. Likely would inflict a slightly higher blunt damage statistic when fighting the 12,7x108mm ammunitions.

Just to clarify things: this video is bullcrap (as Cabron himself). .50-cal rated armor was avaliable since at least 80s. It was SARVIP plates for helicopter crews and British soldiers actually used .50-cal rated blates in Northern Ireland.
