borkata1984 Posted February 20, 2021 Share Posted February 20, 2021 I am expiriencing somehting strange, like 11 hits with 7.62x51 M61 ammo for a single kill without heals, 15 hits with 855A1 ammo for 1 kill against 2 players, while I usually die by 2-3 hits to chest or less....so far my record is 676 flesh DMG to a single player, it was a prolonged fight but not enough for him to heal up so much... So what am i doing wrong? As i said i am experiencing this the last two weeks, before that it is tap tap dead, now i throw bullets with buckets to get a kill.... borkata1984 Posted February 22, 2021 Author Share Posted February 22, 2021 Actually i am experiencing this mostly with mid tier ammo, like 7.62x54 SNB, or 7.62x39 BP, strange enough 7.62x51 M61, 5.45x39 BS and igolnik seems to do the job just fine and it is strange when you kill a pmc with two to the chest with 5.45x39 and then you put half a mag (10+rounds) of SNB in a player to kill.... i dont find any logic. Right now DMR seems like a strange weapon class, slow fire rate, no full auto, subpar ammo alot of it, i just got a kill with SR-25 on the boat pier on shore line and the enemy took 10 hits with 7.62x51 M62, few minutes ago i shot twice a pmc in the back upper torso and he just ran away like nothing happened. I am not whining, i am doing okay but it feels like i am playing quake with a handgun some times and not like shooting a high caliber precise, powerful sniper rifle... This is realism...not. Yes the netcode has trouble dealing with the packages, but to be honest if I think about the package size and the frequency I'm literally amazed by the netcode's performance at this stage. But again, the damage model is so off. Damage multiplyer for black limbs is 0,7 and is transposed to all other zones while it should be 1 and go only towards center torso. Apart from this hits should result in a much more severe character behaviour. No running on pain meds. No instant painkiller effects and massively decreasing effect of secondary med intake. borkata1984 Posted February 23, 2021 Author Share Posted February 23, 2021 I do bring propital in every single raid and i used to bring grizzly too and i know how both work, propital provides decent healing IN LONG RUN, and grizzly take huge amount of time to apply + the animation is clearly visible and you can tell when a player is healing. I am not talking about a prolonged fight when you shoot take cover, heal up, then peak and shoot again and repeat. I am talking about pumping led on a target on the pier on shore line 100% open and visible, no cover, he is not returning fire so i don't take cover just shoot. My only explanation is desync but if it is, there should be no shot registration right? i mean in the post game screen i should see shots fired but no hits registered...but when i am shooting on a single target and i see 14 shots fired 11 hits with 0.79 accuracy and 1 kill....it feels confusing.
