paracelsus1981
Hi I need to know if there is a programm that helps me to manage my internet connection while gaming. Since there are a lot of background applications running during gaming I wonder if there is a software that stops other programms from uploading data in order to lower my ping. So far I have a ping of 16 but I like to optimize stuff. Any ideas?
Xarc
@RuecklichtYou can try to play/test a little with the Quality of Service (QoS) from your router .
VVumm3n1Z3r
suppose you are german Ruecklicht? if you own a Fritz router this option will help to priorize certain data, not sure what tools other router brands offer https://service.avm.de/help/de/FRITZ-Box-Fon-WLAN-7490/018/hilfe_internet_prio https://www.pcwelt.de/a/quality-of-service-schneller-surfen-mit-router-tricks,3449687

Hehe, yeah that was the first thing what I did yesterday, but thanks. vor 1 Stunde schrieb VVumm3n1Z3r: suppose you are german Ruecklicht? if you own a Fritz router this option will help to priorize certain data, not sure what tools other router brands offer https://service.avm.de/help/de/FRITZ-Box-Fon-WLAN-7490/018/hilfe_internet_prio https://www.pcwelt.de/a/quality-of-service-schneller-surfen-mit-router-tricks,3449687 Yeah, like I said to Xerc first thing I checked out. But what I wonder is if there is any good way to stop other unnecessary programs to load stuff up, because upload are always bad for gaming. So far I mostly am annoyed with the Win´s searchapp. And its a bit tricky stopping it. People advice to not deinstall it since Win needs it for certain tasks.
