The_Salad_Man 0
Hello everyone, I was just posting today to ask about your graphic cards. I'm currently playing on an RX480, and on good days I get 60-70 FPS on customs. But the moment I get any scope that's more than 2x and look at a tree on woods I easily fall to 30. Lost quite a few kits to that hardware problem and it's very annoying. So I was asking to see what cards you guys play on! Do you guys get good FPS? What are your graphic settings? Looking for some cheap upgrades that would work nicely as well. Heard some people talk about GTX1080ti, would a GTX1080 work just as well? Please leave any ideas! Thanks guys! Kenpachi1985 28
A GTX 1080 is always a good choice for an upgrade, if you can get one for a reasonable price (its around 70-90% stronger then your current RX 480). It would help if you post the rest of your system, including the resolution you play on - i guess its 1920x1080 (1080p)? I get around 80-100 FPS at 1440p with reasonable graphic settings wih my RTX 2070 and a beefy system in the background.

TarkovCitizen4431498 105
RTX3080/3700x - getting roughly 100-110 FPS. (more detailed specs in signature) A GTX1080(TI) will be a huge improvement over the RX480. But in the current market I think it will be very hard to find one for a decent price. GPU prices (even second-hand) have spiked through the roof 🤐3 months ago I sold my 2070 for €400. Now I would have been able to get at least 6-700 for it, looking at current prices.
IBRUTAL-IENEMY 2
I’m running a RTX 2080 and curently running 70-100 FPS with setting spread between high and medium i don’t experience any sudden drops hence why I keep my settings as they are

I'll get back to you will a full list of specs tomorrow since I am not at my PC currently. I greatly appreciate your input. 7 hours ago, IBRUTAL-IENEMY said: I’m running a RTX 2080 and curently running 70-100 FPS with setting spread between high and medium i don’t experience any sudden drops hence why I keep my settings as they are Shouldn't a 2080 be more powerful than a 1080? I wonder why you get the same FPS for some med-high graphics as a 1080 would. Not trying to be a dickhead. 9 hours ago, TarkovCitizen4431498 said: RTX3080/3700x - getting roughly 100-110 FPS. Generally this game isn’t optimized good enough that a higher end GPU will be performing better than a lower one. I have three different PCes at home, the oldest runs a i7 5930k, GTX 1080 and 2800MHz RAM, if I remember correct, that PC can run Tarkov at 70 FPS mostly. My second PC with i7 8700k, RTX 2080 Super and 3600 MHz RAM runs Tarkov fairly well, usually close to 80-100 FPS constantly, and my third PC with i9 10900k, RTX 3090 and 4400MHz RAM CL16 runs Tarkov at, well, a decent frame rate, but it fluctuates a lot. On Shoreline, most of the time I’m sitting at 120-150 FPS, problem is that I get dips, giving me 70-80, but the real problem is that when the FPS counter hit 140, the GPU usage is at 40%. Now imagine what the FPS would be if the game actually utilized the whole graphics card. One good example, CoD CW runs at a good 400 plus, 1080p, all graphics set to max. Tarkov isn’t optimized, and we probably won’t see any effect before the game moves to a newer Unity engine which is told to come in either 12.11 or 12.12 patch. For your own sake, a 1080Ti will be a better upgrade, because it has more VRAM, but it’s all depending on for what price. People in my country are selling their 3080s for the same price I payed for my 3090, the GPU market is retarded as of today because of the demand. BrettB 93
Anyone running a 6800XT? Im considering upgrading from a 5700XT when they become available.
dchen4 1
RTX 2060, All high (highest possible) about 80 fps on confined maps e.g. interchange, and about 70 on reserve, 80+ on shoreline
verblud 0
Heres my settings on a 1660ti. Average about 90 FPS I would say. Don't really notice a difference on larger maps either.
