EFT is basically like playing checkers

It's really simple. After 2000 hours in this game, 70 million loose roubles, stash worth 200 million roubles, 5.0 KD, 46% survival rate, I have realized that this game is just an over the top game of checkers. Position yourself properly and you just head/eyes the enemy immediately. Step into the wrong spot (for example, just sprinting around every corner) and you get head/eyes. Countless "updates" to fix servers and nothing has ever changed.

 

Stutters/lag/head eyes regardless of helmet/HORRIBLE sound in game/HORRIBLE lighting in game/ HORRIBLE weather mechanics/gear doesn't matter/realistic game that allows bunny hopping, stimulants that reduce damage and regenerate health, no recoil on guns, actual movement speed increase HAHAHAHAHA. Tarkov is truly a bad game and I cannot wait for something to come along and show BSG how to properly build a shooter like this. You do not deserve the sales you get. The hype is fabricated and paid for. Look at your forums. They are filled with complaints. Oceans of complaints lol.

Possibly the most succinctly amusing response I've seen..lol. I HATE Tarkov with a passion, but rush home to play it every single night...lol.

Well if you drove a car at 60mph for 2000 hours you would have travelled 120,000 miles. The moon is 238,855 miles away from earth so you have travelled half of the distance to the moon in the time that it took you to master and get bored of Tarkov. 

You spent up to the maximum of $150 for a game you have played for 2000 hours... 

7.5 cents per hour it has cost you to play this game.

Firstly I will say I do agree BSG should have never pushed for the TTV hype, with all the loot drops and armbands and competitions. None of that should have been encouraged. That crowd of new players has only further hurt development. 

Why? Well because the game was not released on Steam for the reason of "We don't want a swarm of newer more mainline players to flood the game until it's totally ready etc." -something along those lines I remember them stating.

They then contradicted themselves by helping the twitch hype.

 

But I must say a decent amount of what I see on these forums (ignore reddit and ttv, ALWAYS IGNORE REDDIT AND TTV!) are fairly constructive and supportive of BSG. We just wanna help assist them to make the game the best it can be

Weird game right. I've never had such a desire to play a game I hate so much.

If you ever get to the point that this game becomes as simple as checkers for you it’s time to find something else to do with your life.
