How did I just die?

Was it dehydration bleed? I noticed my head went black as soon as i died but i have been dehydrated plenty of times and lost my thorax and head to its bleed plenty of times too.                    

Or did someone take a potshot at me and i didn't hear it because BSG decided to bring steam audio back even though its obviously more broken than it was before?

I really hope it was someone who shot me and i didnt hear it because if i just loss my SR25 because i forgot to bring my extra gamma IFAK im gonna be heated.

you should also show us the post-raid death screen (it should tell you what happened). That same screen would have shown if you died to a bullet vs dehydration. (look for the "skull" symbol - that is the fatal shot, if there is ever one). If the skull is missing - there was no fatal shot and you did not die to a gunshot would.

Back on topic - yes, you died because your head lost all of its HP.

"Head/Thorax: Destroyed: Instant death. Note that bleeding into the destroyed state and health reduction from stimulators does not result in instant death, but any further damage will."

That means that hitting head/thorax to blacked out state, and then taking 1 extra point of DMG from dehydration - will kill you.

It actually said a player killed me in post raid screen but the skull icon on my PMCs after raid health report said dehydration.

of all the times to forget my gamma IFAK

i just hope the raid was empty because I really liked that SR25
