grayweasel
I'm a left-handed newbie (not only new to EFT, but to gaming in general). I have a G903 Lightspeed ambidextrous mouse and G613 Lightspeed keyboard. Since I'm so new at this, I don't have any idea what is the most common way to remap the keys / buttons for left handed gamers, especially those playing EFT. Should I limit myself to the 2 mouse buttons by the thumb, or include the buttons on the other side of the mouse as well? Should I use the i j k l keybinding or use the numpad? I plan to spend quite a bit of effort training myself with whatever setup I settle with. So, I would like to start out on the right foot (no pun intended). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Majlo
I'm right-handed and don't know much about left-handed gaming, but... I don't know a single left-handed person that doesn't just play mouse and keyboard like any other right-handed person. If you're going to be learning from the ground up, you may as well learn the most common way (unless you really like or want another way, like left-handed gaming, or something special (I have a friend that moves "WASD" with his mouse)). Also, if you know the most common way (standard WASD right-handed) you can always easily pick up gaming at anyone else's place (a friend's, a LAN, etc.). Probably not the kind of advice you wanted to hear, but it's what I got.

I'm going to take your advice under serious consideration. Thank you for your help.
werewulf
Lefty here. I am mouse in the right hand since day 1 and couldn't think about playing any other way. Just start yourself using it like that and you will get used to it.
FallenWarrior60
Buddy of mine plays left handed. He just basically inverted the keybinds. WASD became PL;'
Akrazo
Left handed as well. However I've always used a computer with the mouse on the right. I can mouse on the left but it feels odd. I guess it just comes from always encountering the mouse on the right. I'm pretty well adapted to right handed life. Some people even forget I'm left handed. Most likely since the only two things I do left handed are eat with utensils and write. I can't imagine not using WASD.
