Performance issues - Upgrade recommendation

Hello everyone!

The game is running really badly on my rig, is anyone in the know about hardware able to tell me what I need to upgrade?

My specs are:

Geforce GTX 980,

i7-5820k,

32 gb ram 

SSD

I have tried ducking around with the settings a lot and nothing seems to work!

You didn't say what the actual performance is and what your budget for new hardware is. How is anybody supposed to give you proper help if you don't put in the minimum of info one would need to make a sensible recommendation?

What FPS are you getting at the moment? I'd say with those specs you probably will get about 70-80 at the very most.

With 3700x / 32GB / RTX3080 / M.2 SSD I was getting 90-105.
Upgraded to 5600x (oc @4.8Ghz) two days ago and am at 110-140FPS now, but still dips below 100 sometimes.

If you really want an upgrade go to a 9900k. If you want a solid processor that is not the top performer then go with the 9700k. This game if I am not mistaken seems very processor heavy. 

Graphics card I would probably try to find a RTX3070. It is a massive upgrade from what you currently have.
