Scav Karma (gaining rep as scav) Bugged?

I Scav in on factory, looking for troubled scavs, I usually run around like a headless chicken to avoid being headshot and wait for a scav to shoot me in the arm, to which I can retaliate to get positive scav karma, I just had a raid where 2 different scavs shot me, I killed them both, but received no positive scav karma or negative scav karma, its happening alot now, is there a bug here on killing hostile scavs? or am I just reciving less than 0.1 scav karma for killing them? 

 

Anyone else input would be greatly apricated

You dont get Karma when someone shot you first and he wont lose karma either when he kills you after you shot back. 

You only gain karma when he is rogue and has killed others and you retailiate them

Well thanks for clearing that up, there must of been a change recently then

Like john said, a scav is only rogue after they kill another scav. Kind of dumb but it is what it is.
