State of Tarkov Servers really?

I just got a successful Scav Run but was stuck on end loading screen, didn't even know if the items I've looted can be transferred anymore because I'm in queue due to Server Issues which have started since the wipe. Well, I understand BSG is doing whatever they can, but how come it's really taking that long? The website indicates green on the Server on all categories and the twitter saying the backend job was done and good... But I think it's really not. With the amount of money they got from all the promotions and advertising, they can hire the best of the best network support to fix this issues on technical and everything. It's really frustrating having to deal with it because the game is really that good but it always comes down to a bad server configuration, etc... I just hope BSG does the right thing and fix this ASAP.

After my first queue I got stuck on the loading screen so I have to que up again. Hire a specialist already BSG, you have all the resources I believe, with that amount of money, don't be too greedy and just fix the servers with all you've got...

I feel you. My question is why BSG is taking too long to sort things out or fix the issue. If they hire a network team or specialist or technical guys instead of them figuring out themselves then it should have been all done and good. I believe they have all the money they need because they advertised too much mainly on twitch and probably other platforms too. They got like most viewed channel in twitch from the start of the wipe 12.12 last December. With all the money they have, this should not be an issue already. The game is good and improved a lot but this kind of server issues every wipe is ruining everything...

I qued up the 3rd time... This is really frustrating...

Since they got the "job done" I never had a queue again. Plus this is another problem then before. Before the server were near the down all the time. Everything was loading for ages. Then often the server went down and the typical error that you got because you can't connect to the servers. The problem now is different. We are get in the game but stay at the loading screen. And I got messengers from my hideout and the insurance. This now is a different problem. It's extremly unlucky that the new issue get here directly after they fixed the old problem. I don't think this time will go on for so long as last time. Just don't rage too much. It's not helping.

So please don't see everything on the same level. The old and long problems were disgusting and shitty. Even I raged there, but they solved it for now. The new problem will be solved as soon as possible and hopefully faster. Just don't rage when the game is for 2 min unvaiable.

These should be common problems already dealt by most teams or specialist on the technical field. I'm not raging but, say if you hire an expert or consult a team of expert or master whatever you call them on that technical aspect, I'm pretty sure they can get around on these any kind of problems since it's their field of expertise and in world of I.T. everything is known or can be programmed or solved or configure...

The only question is why? All of this issues not being dealt with if you have a team who really knows what they are doing. Because I believe this can be solved by someone who knows what's up and knows the way around it....

yeah I think that too. And I don't think your raging. I just say that at such controversial conversations because the rage get's pretty fast in it.
Now to the problem: The old server issues could be solved in maximum of 4 days  I think and that just if it's super hard to find the issue. If it's a ddos it should be solved in 2 days if it's a perfect guy who tries to ddos. So that they took weeks for that is dumb. I don't know why they needed so long. The problem now should be fixed soon. I just want to seperate the fact of the old issues, which has been resolved but took way to long and the new issue which is just minutes (now around half an hour to an hour) old. Even the best IT specialist needs time to search for the problem and time to programm the new files. A small fix needs about to 400 lines of code. So it really needs some time and is not solved in half an hour.

Then I believe this will be the trend for Tarkov for the rest of the wipe. We just have to deal with it. I'm over it, it's still in BETA.

Do you know the Palm Island, it's just like that...

I have a question, so my partner and I tried to get the whole week the weekly quest done. Abot 30 Minutes ago he did it right in time to finish his weekly quest. Then the servers went down again, and now what? I mean we accept a lot but grinding for a weekly where you get about 30k xp and now the time goes by and we will get nothing?! Come on thats not a solution. We are very patient I mean how much loot and money did i lost through the rough weeks and i said nothing but now im getting mad. And just deal with it cant be a solution for the community thats stays even the worst times.

BSG are working TIRELESSLY to try and resolve these issues, so much as to work THROUGH their own holidays. When you're coding one of the most complex games ever made, things can and will go wrong. This is why it's a beta, and we are here.

I agree it sucks, and I want to play also! But if we are PATIENT and work TOGETHER, we can eventually have the game we want! Cheers!

By "resolve these issues" you mean:

Focus on events and extra content while ignoring the laundry list of bugs and problems in the game.

I'm sitting here for 15min with 1 player infront of me :D he's taking his time. 2 times before that the queue ended, but game didn't launch at all. 15min.thumb.JPG.50f9965ee9ece675934f7a2aee9e399c.JPG

I have a question: if you tell the truth is it bootlicking?!? Do you work as a coder? nh? no? yeah thatswhy you know nothing and just want everything in games, no issues and all that with no effort and no waiting. You know how hard work and hours of hours of just writing code this work is? no? that's what i thought. I do and it's more then just turn on the PC and after a 3 min timelabs everything is perfect. Don't play the game if you can't handle it!

you know that they planed this events for a  longer time. The weapons too. For the events and weapons they "just" need to get the code in and out. They coded this things BEFORE the bugs went in. The bugs went in AFTER they did the patch. Before that they had not that much problems. They can not work on issues, when the issues are not there already. Another apsect would be that they need to get new people in. So they put new content out that the world can see: hey the game is not dead, the producer are still interestet in the game and there is new content. The difficult ist to put content out fast enough in combination with the fixes. New people don't buy a game because they bring new fixes out, they bouy games because of the content. I am not saying, that the combination of that, which they are doing now is perfect, but better then just fixes after fixes. If the youwld just bring one fix after enother and no content guys like you, which cry all the time about stuff, which is not that bad, cry about no content.

I am pretty new to the game, but I must admit I have never seen such overloaded servers on other games before except for launch day. I bought access to the "beta" after seeing this game on twitch and I love the game, even if it isn't feature complete or quality complete. After doing some research I must say, that a game that is 5 years in "beta" is somewhat strange. I didn't know that before I bought it, but it gives me the bad feeling, that the management team isn't focusing the work on getting the game done. A game like this can easily be dragged out in development by adding more and more features. I have the feeling the game needs to get the quality done and the IT scaled to production. With a growing player base money flows in, but you have to scale the servers with your player base.

THIS GAME IS STILL IN BETA TESTING. What part of that don't you understand?
You didn't pay for a completed game, you payed to gain access to a CLOSED BETA.
You get the completed game when BSG says it's completed and release it.

BSG are not a 300 person team AAA developer like DICE and EA which can pump a crap game out every year.

Tarkov is a HUGELY COMPLEX game, using the very best modern tech has to offer, being coded by a team a FRACTION the size of AAA companies. The time it takes is a direct result of the size of the undertaking at hand!

Yeah I think the same way. The problem is, that BSG is a develepor studio, which is very small. After some Events and big advertising plus the big update with lighthouse the servers are overloaded. They already stocked the servers up, doubled the people in the studio and co. The problem is, that they still can't handle such a big player base. I think they wasn't prepared for such a big boom. If they expand now too much, they could have problems with financing it later on. It's a big dilemma. They need to pay their staff and the servers but just with new players comes new money in, so they need a strategy. I don't know which strategy they have, but one is sure. They were not prepared for such a big boom and so we need to wait until they can handle it. We can have patient and wait and try to do our best or leave and come back later. If you want, you can leave completly. I personaly like the studio and the game so much, I will not leave.

No sorry, a project has content, budget and time. Just because your team is small doesn't mean that you can't launch a product. It's a matter of what you're trying to achieve. As a "beta tester" I am merely giving my feedback here, that in my opinion form content perspective the game doesn't need much more for a launch, but the quality and IT isn't up to production yet. That's my opinion and I think it's a dangerous management strategy to sell beta access for real money and have that beta going on for many years. Whenever you sell something to a customer you raise expectations and you're on a timer then.

stay patient? maybe if they didnt charge $140 for a game thats been in beta for 5 years just so they can add stupid ass air drops and change everything  for twitch drops to make streamers happy. because thats what this game really needed.
