Reset Scav timer if a Scavplayer kills you!

I like the new system that Scavs have to work together among themselves.

But there is always one or the other who is not interested.

That's why I would suggest when getting killed by a scav player.

The timer is reset.

Thank you for reading. (Like if you like the suggestion)

honestly this is a decent idea. the player that is killed gets to have a free scav instantly. and I think to penalize the one who killed the player scav should have to wait an extended period of time.

I don't think is a good idea, even if i can understand you, but the objective of a SCAV is to survive, then the SCAV does everything to stay alive.

btw if you get killed, it's just a raid, wait 15-20 mins and go into another one..

the point of SCAV rep is to be friendly to other scavs and bosses. Those who dont follow should suffer the consequence.

I like the idea to reset the timer, if u get killed by another scav player.
But it should be a middle way and not the complete reset of time.

A good option in my opinion is:

-Scav Player who kills another Scav Players get for every kill:  2/5/10 Minutes punishment on top, next Rounds (reset every 24h or better 48hours realliftime).

-Scav Player who was killed from another Scav Player get: 8 or 10 Minutes less time to wait for next Round

what do u think about? 😁

I wrote something like this already here, and whats even worse, if they wound scav, and extract immediately, then that wounded scav dies, looks like no penalty in rep for that murderer that extracted... idk looks like that I cant find any info... and I got killed 2x by scavs while scav, because of airdrops... so I will simply stop looting them, its death trap, always someone camp them...

I like the scav karma system (the idea).  Though, sometimes you might want to kill another player scav, and you should be able to.  Or you might be jumpy and accidentally kill another player scav.  That can happen.  Point being, it is important that people are still able to make the choice of being KOS if they want to (I don't want that taken away), but there should be some disincentives for that like the longer timer people mention.

But I really like this idea because it is a positive incentive for trying to do the scav karma system -AND- I think it would really help newer players.  If a newer player is struggling, hops into a raid, gets betrayed, their mind gets frayed.. one way to get them back into the action, more experience, and allow them to have fun playing EFT is to reset their timer.  If they are a scav and they are killed by another player scav, I have no issue with them jumping right into another match.

Good suggestion.  :)

Another suggestion to deter player scavs from killing fellow scavs:
make the penalty system relation-based:
Instead of losing 0.1 Scav Rep for a kill, no matter what rep you have, you lose a percentage of your rep (or whichever is greater):
You lose a minimum of 0.1 rep or 10% of your reputation.
For a boss at least 0.5 rep or dunno, 30%?!
This means with 6.50 rep with fence you'd get no "free kill" but you lose .65 rep and end up below 6

Probably some tweaking required, but what do you guys think?

Isn't that already part of it?  Like the higher you are the more rep you lose?  I thought that was already the case but I might be mistaken.

This is already implemented in the game but even more harsh.

It is a 10x difference in how much karma you lose between 0 and +6 rep.

At 0 Rep you lose:

  1.  AI Scav: -0.03
  2.  Player Scav: -0.1
  3.  Boss Guard: -0.6
  4.  Boss: -0.2/0.5

At +6 Rep you lose:

  1.  AI Scav: -0.3
  2.  Player Scav: -1.5
  3.  Boss Guard: -6. 0
  4.  Boss: -6.0

Anything above 6.00 rep always sends you back to 5.91, I’ve gotten to 6+ many times this wipe as scav and I just shoot a loaded scav cus it’s only 9 raids to get back to where I was lmao pretty dope at high scav rep

After having like 8 rep and you drop to 5.91 from 1 player scav kill cus they shot around you I’ve just gotten to 6.01 then kill a random scav with loot and then wait til I’m 6+ again to do it again cus there realistically isn’t any punishment for higher rep, just 1 scav kill in a secluded area and I’m geared effortlessly

also a heads up that your numbers for scav rep are not accurate
