Xeraphas
I just got back from a one week vacation and got ready for work then realized I have 2 hours... I'll play some Tarkov. I hit 1 wrong key on login and now I get an hour cooldown.... first login attempt in legit 6 days and a 1hr cooldown and now I don't have time to play. On top of all the cheaters, bugs and other stuff that makes Tarkov frustrating to deal with why do we have to deal with BSG legit rawdogging us on purpose. Have you entered it wrong recently? I got a warning after 1 bad attempt a couple months ago (new computer) and from memory it was quite a threatening lockout period. Well, if it doesn't happen to you, it must not be true!
Vodor
I suspect it might have something to do with "new device" or "new/irregular connection" detection, most internet services have it these days.

Ok, my bad. I misread that situation. 😳 So, yeah, it can be a VPN. New device. New IP because they rebooted the router. It could be a bad actor has actively tried using thier email and a password combo that is being passed around the Dark Web. Lots of things. It could just be BSG being wonky. This. What kind of password are they using? Mine is in the line at Potato%88 and I use it on billions of websites because you know, bsg FORCES 2fa anyway and never got an email giving me a code when I did not requested. One day when those nasty people grab a match on an email and password you'll start getting loads of 2fa code requests. It's just a question of time Pain in the arse when it happens too!
