Weapon Companies Thread

Besides full weapons platforms, there are plenty of other goodies you can include.

12ga Flechettes (similar in use to slugs though they have less penetration they remain accurate at longer distances)

Bayonets that attach to guns

12ga beanbag rounds (something that'll break someone's leg or arm maybe without killing them.....for reasons).

Flashbangs!

Flare Pistols (for night runs w/o NVG's).

12ga door breaching rounds. It's absurd that all we have to rely on to enter a doorway is either the doorknob or our foot. One system for this is the KAC Masterkey, which is an underbarrel attachment for an M4 or M16.

Handheld Flashlights, or flashlights that can be held in the off hand in Harries style:

CCW-Lights-3.jpg

Double-barrel shotgun (maybe an over-under shotgun too).

Sig Sauer / Swiss arms

SIG 550

 sig_sg550_family.jpg

Sig Sauer: https://www.sigsauer.com/company/contact/

Swiss arms: Industrieplatz 1. Postfach 1071. CH-8212 Neuhausen am Rheinfall

Phone +41 (0) 52 674 65 65. (Fax +41 (0) 52 674 64 18 idk if anyone still uses this)

In the picture you see all guns of the 550 series. They're all used by the Swiss military and are extremely hard to get if you're not a swiss citizen. But you can shoot them in Switzerland on a few shooting ranges. Idk if they're availabe in Russia but I don't think so beacause Switzerland does not sell guns to Countries which are currently in war (Syria btw. this counts as war in Switzerland).

You're absolutely right. The HK417 was a typo, but the MP7 was a shock! I had no idea it uses 4.6x30mm. Thanks for the corrections.

Yeah, it's a very odd caliber that only the MP7 uses (as far as I know anyway, can't think of any others)

Here is a nice Solid list that I drew up.

The reason I chose the Armalite AR50 is because yes it is a 50 but you get one shot. Then you need to load another round and close the bolt. Keeps it balanced. No mags and very slow rate of fire.

Larues would be awesome to see in game. Not many games add them even tho they are used by special operations.

TheAK 105 is in there art but not in game please add it is my favorite AK

FN Scar H is a well regarded marksmen rifle that is still currently serving with US forces today

HK 433 is the new kid on the block from HK

HK MP7  This is  a must it is a Favorite of the US Navy Seals and an amazing SMG. 40rnd Mags with armor piercing and is extremely compact.

The USEC need some American shotguns. Thus the Iconic Mossberg 500 and the M4 Benelli. Both with amazing modding potential and direct counters to the Russian versions in game.

Henry Mares leg would just be fun

Glock 19 and 22 would be awsome to see. The Glock 19 is not the standard sidearm of both the US Navy Seals as well as MARSOC

The Colt M45A1 Was the standard sidearm for MARSOC and still is for Recon Marines. However there does need to by atleast 1 1911 in the game. It is the most Iconic pistol in the world after all.

Also on a side note PLEASE keep the COD fanboy guns out such as the ACR and the FMAS. The ACR was a major failure in every way. Horribly expensive, cant hold up to combat, parts are rare. The P90 is another example. Terrible magazines and outclassed these days by the MP7.
I believe I read you are using Only high volume service weapons for the most part. Good keep it that way.

The Glock 19 is used by Army SF and NSW, CAG is using Glock 22's mostly. These guns are a must have in the game. Glock wont give any licenses tho I am pretty sure. HK VP9 would be nice too. 1911 is a must have aswell. Beretta 92FS needs to be implemented.

Really would love to see the M110 and a M320 beside the M230. LAW would be the counter part to RPG's maybe.

FN Scar for sure. And maybe the new Daniel Defense FSP rail, which is in use now by Army SF.

Like everyone else I too would like to see more H&K weapon systems.

specifically the H&K G56 battle rifle, G56c CQB variant and also the MR56 Sniper variant.

That being said I'd also like to see the British made L85A2 SA80, as I'm english ;)! See attached pictures. Thanks for the consideration.

the L85 would be cool, but the HK G56 isn't an actual gun. It's a concept someone drew up while bored basically, it's not even a feasible design that would actually work the way he drew it. Tried finding the manufacturer of the L85 but it seems they have gone out of business, couldn't find who makes them now or any other info. I'll continue the search later and edit this if I find anything.

I'm just gonna start doing this whenever I happen to check the thread since nobody else seems to, hopefully save the devs and mods some time so they can be doing other stuff instead finding contact info for all these different companies.

My comments are this... Hi-Point is not a company that makes the most renown firearms.  However, they are cheap and reliable.  I have a 995TS that is enjoyable to fire, however it is fairly inaccurate if shot at targets over 50 yards.  I do have a grip, bi-pod and 4x scope - just because I can.  Mag only holds 10 - 9mm rounds.  I do not have experience with their hand gun.  I think these firearms may make a good addition as cheap starter firearms, maybe even for SCAVs.  If you have any questions about my experience with my 995TS, please let me know.

Oh god, Hi-Points are terrible guns. Constantly jamming, pretty much nobody uses them. I've heard some good things about them as well, but the majority of people absolutely hate their guns.

That is why they are cheap.  I haven't had any MAJOR problems with my carbine - but yes, it does jam. Still, fun to shoot, little recoil and cheap.  Hence my suggestion. ;)

Maybe lol, I just always think that when mixing the world of video games and the world of guns, a Beretta M9 is always a great starter

I'm in the British army myself and as I serve in the infantry I can tell you that the SA80 was manufactured by Enfield, a British company. The SA80 came to British army service in 1980 hence "SA80" meaning small arms 80. The original design had many flaws including the bolt assembly and the original magazines which were designed for the rifle. The design was eventually presented to Heckler&Koch who changed multiple features on the rifle, thus making it more effective and less prone to stoppages. The weapon now features H&K stamps. I can also tell you that H&K is now own by a British company called BAE systems which provides munitions for the army also. Many thanks, would love to see this weapon feature in the game.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I can't seem to actually find a website for Enfield but considering it now features H&K stamps, I'm gonna assume H&K have officially "adopted" it and put in the info for contacting H&K about it lol.

So, turns out I can no longer edit that old comment to include the info there (for some unknown reason), so I'm putting it here instead. Would be nice to see some more H&K weapons anyway, the MP7, HK416, HK45, Mark 23, USP etc etc lol

Yes indeed they have adopted it. There is also a 40mm underslung grenade launcher which is also manufactured by H&K which can be attached to the SA80. Just food for thought if you get the rights to feature both the weapons. Thanks.

Isn't that the M320? Pretty sure that can be attached to pretty much any assault rifle you can attach an underslung GL to. The U.S. Army has started using the M320 instead of the old M203 now, so it can be attached to the M4 as well.
