Where's a go to place for attachment guides?

Trying to modify weapons is nothing short of frustrating as well as expensive.  Is there a place I can go to find a list of what attachments work with what weapons and what optics attach to what rails?  I've burned far too much money trying to figure out what works and there doesn't seem to be an in-game guide to show you what works with what.

You can use the search function, on here or on google. youtube helps also. the more you know
