Are there teleport hackers?

This same guy keeps killing me in 3/4 of my games, with 1 bullet and just appearing next to me.

I just joined factory, only 2 ways into my room, 1 the stairs I was standing on or 2 doors. Both doors were closed and I was on the stairs, this guy is then literally on top of my head and kills me, the same guy on both maps ive played, same guy has killed me 3-4 t imes now, I don't wanna name him incase I get in trouble, but this is ridiculous lmao, previous game he one shot me from somewhere I don't even know and did the same to a friend.

After it happened, it said I could rejoin as my character like I disconnected, then my character fell through the world until I was missing in action

It looked exactly like this link I found on reddit ---------- There was literally no way for him to get to me, and he has 1 shot me on multiple instances from nowhere

Sounds like desync, especially since you lost connection. The "teleporting" is caused by you losing connection to the server and reconnecting and your game compensates for the movement everyone else has done by warping them to their current location. This happens all the time when I play with people from the west coast when I'm on the east coast

Nah I don't think there was any desync, I literally just joined the game, usually on desync I can't open containers, and I could. It said I died, not disconnected, but it let me rejoin. I think it's because the game itself couldn't even register what happened, and it was just a weird coincidence the same guy who keeps killing me out of nowhere keeps doing it over and over

I've had it happen where my friends were warping all over the place but I could still loot containers just fine. It could be that the other person was the one who had desync. And usually in this game, the damage model favors the desync. I've shot someone in the face while I was lagging only to find a dead body 40 feet away with a dogtag listing me as the killer.

Just find it odd how it is the game guy that has killed me in dodgy ways 3-4-5 times in a row back to back

We do not tolerate reports of cheaters in our forum.
The anti-cheat system in place works reliably and all the data collected by it gets reviewed by staff to ensure maximum effectiveness and remove the risk of false positives.

If the person you suspect of hacking really hacked he will be banned shortly.
